NEW DELHI: The signals are not hard to miss: India redeploys its forces on the border and begins a major exercise, ISI chief Ehsan-ul-Haq warns senior Pakistani army commanders of a limited Indian military assault and US assistant secretary of state for South Asia Christina Rocca rushes in this week to the region to broker peace.
There has been a dangerous buzz in the air about a limited Indian military strike across the LoC for the past few months. Now, three years after Pakistan’s Kargil failure, there are indications that India may be contemplating its own limited action across the LoC.

washington is losing patience with pakistan. there is a report in today's Guardian newspaper that the "first split in America's alliance with Pakistan in the war against al- qaida begann to emerge last night as officials in Washington complained about the slow pace of military operations in Pakistans sensitive tribal areas"

the report goes on to say that washington believes that several hundred al qaida fighters have fled actross the afghan border into Waziristan, the southernmost of pakistan's lawless tribal agencies. Pentagon officials have pressed the military regime in islamabad to take action but are facing strong resistance from the pakistanis.

i think the indian government is simply putting pressure on the paks rather than preparing for war.

If this Muhammad kind of guys read the paki forum, they come to know Pakistani treat Indian muslim (who migrated there) as Mohajir and their party MQM as an arm of RAW.
