Thumbs down

Just wasted $4.00 on renting a Slyvester Stallone movie "Get Carter".

I saw it for about 35 minutes. The basic plot was that Slyvester (Carter's) younger brother has died under mysterious circumstances. Carter is a tough guy for the Vegas mob. So he sets about invetsigating...

It was so slow and boring... I decided to sleep and enjoy my sleep rather than watch a boring movie.

The consoling point: I wasted half the money in renting and not having gone to the theatres to see it for 8 plus bucks

Echarcha,

sorry to hear about your $4.00

But this is a perfect example of Hollywood films with 20 million dollar Stars failing miserably.

Better if you had watched the low budget Hera-Pheri starring Akshay, Sunil and Paresh Rawal. Directed excellently by Priyadarshan.

and what about the Jai Maharashtra scene?

simply fantastic.

BTW, Paresh is coming to USA next month with a Naatak called Shaadi@Barbaadi.com .

Don't have the exact details, but the ad airs on TV-asia regularly.

Cool

Hey Sutradhar

Sorry to hear about your $4......such a waste!!!I guess it's time for Sylvester to retire.
You should rent some movies such as "meet the parents" or "COYOTE UGLY".This movie is a treat for men as you get to see some sexy models( such as Tyra BAnks), of course in skimpy clothes, dancing in a New York bar while serving drinks to the customers. It's phul paisa wasool!
For the women , the consolation is ,the cutey patuti, the male lead of the film who has an Australian accent and good looks.
