What about "Topic of the Day" Forum ?

I've a little suggestion that you should create a new forum "Topic of the Day" where only you should have the rights to create the thread. All others can reply to that, but cannot create a new thread. The purpose of that would be that you'll be giving us a new topic everyday which we can discuss and where all of us can concentrate. This topic can be anything on current political issue or socio-economic issue. And this thread should always be displayed on top of the "Today's Active Threads" for that full day. I think that'll make this site more interesting.

Other echarchans are welcome to comment on this idea.

Wel, your idea is nice. It will take some modifications in the code of the bulletin board software. I think I can easily create a forum for Topic of the Day and provide a link on the main page. Just let me get into it. Right now I am swamped with some work...

Also, this means I will have to think twice as hard to come up with daily topics... Let me see which is easier - programming or thinking
