Slow boring and frankly, I expected nothing more than that from a gulzar gene.

Music and Songs.. can't comment on that cos I hit the ff button without even listening one line of them cos again, I know its gulzar creation and that guy has already bored me to death all thru this years.

Story line is as follow.. Tabu and sushmita sen are jigri dost. Each has a boy friend. Eventually tabu gets married and after trying very very hard gets pregnant. Sushmita is against getting married and having kids and she wants her career to be her top priority. After a few months of pregnancy, tabu's pregnancy fails and she is adviced to never become a mother again at the risk of losing her own life. Tabu, however, does not listen to that advice and gets pregnant again. This time the doctor says if the child is borne by someone else (surrogate mother) then they will have a kid. All thru the movie, till the end it is a depiction of emotional issues that are supposedly common in these kinds of pregnancy.

Sushi baby agrees to be the surrogate mother being the kind of friend who will give jaan if required. The pregnancy creates a rift between sushi & her boyfriend because all the time she said I aint getting married or have a child and now she is doing it (having a baby in her) for her friend. Eventually there is a huge climax where sushi baby is rushed to hospital only to have a C section (and her blood preasure is high and she is in danger of dying et. al) and finally everything becomes rosy rosy with tabu getting her baby, sushi getting her bf and agreeing to marry him.. et. al.

Overall, 5/10.. I give 5 marks because I guess they are bringing up the practice of surrogate mothers to aid childless couples et. al. Other wise it is a big bore.. sort of like that gulshan nanda novels.
