An alternative to banning people!

In the past few days, we have had some problem people (like problem kids) who are abusing the echarcha board and atmosphere. And are also abusing the tolerance and hospitality displayed by the owner and moderators.

I remember melly pai said very rightly yesterday, that banning is not a solution. SO here's what I propose:

I believe the software vbulletin has a facility whereby moderators can check/edit a post/responses BEFORE they appear. Maybe those who abuse this facility will be allowed to post but ALL their posts will go through a moderator. Until the moderator approves the post it remains in abeyance!

Well.. there should be a time limit though.. I mean if someone posts something at midnight yesterday and no one approves.. then it should wait may be a minute or two and then go ahead and appear as a post. Otherwise it will be annoying to general junta and they will kick us moderators for being tardy..

You misunderstood the proposal. ONLY those who are in the 'black list' like nangoo....dhuro ...anaadi etc.....will go through the censor board!

Yaar Gpel vaise bhi tujhe jyaada kaam nahi hai, thoda controversial post ka editing kar liya kar, log tujhe aur kuch nahi sahi dua to denge.

And moderators should be allowed to add/delete to the blacklist.

Chirag I am NOT proposing an end to democratic views. I am saying if people are irresponsible and abuse a system they should pay the price. Why should the others have to suffer their idiocy?
