I was in for surprise of my life when I opened the door.
All I could muster was aaaahhhhhiii. Come in. She said lets take a walk. (walk in the night that too in unknown country).
I said okay let me change, not sure what to expect.....I got dresses and went out. We went to the lobby and only one shop was open. So I asked Tanaya, whether she wanted coffee. Got coffee for both of us and after taking a seat, I told her my first trip to US and how I had mixed feeling about leaving India and coming to US.
She cheered soon, and we started talking about everything. Being from same town, we found there are tons of things to talk about.
Her cheerful face was the most refreshing thing I have seen and we did not even realize that it was 4:00Am. We had to be at the airport at the airport at 7:00Am and all I was thinking is will I ever see her again after we depart ways at the ATL airport.
I asked her if she wanted to get some rest, as our bus was going to be at the hotel in about 2 hours. To this she said she would rather talk with me.
I got another coffee for both of us and we started talking about our schools. We came from schools which are rivals. Our school compete with each other in all sports and I still remember the thrill and competition .
We got changed and met in the lobby and when we got at the check in I promptly said we are together and was glad I received a cute smile from Tanaya.
One hour in the flight, Tanaya feel asleep and all I did was look at her. Oh I so wanted to be with her for rest of my life, but I knew we only had couple of hours together. I had no idea when i feel asleep and when I got up, Tanaya was looking at me and smiling. All i could say was wish i could wake up to this site for rest of my life
When we landed in ATL and after the immigration procedure, we both had just 3 hours together. She was to travel to Auburn from ATL and I promptly offered to drive her there. I missed my flight, rented a car and our another journey began.
To ff, I am engaged to Tanaya now
