good songs...I love the first one...still listen to it sometimes

As for a big flop, I think there was this movie about the heroine's navel. I think it was called Khushi or something. In south it was super hit and in Hindi remake with Kareena, it was a big flop.

Some of my colleagues pulled me along to me watch this movie.....absolutely its a crap movie with some cheap jokes.... For having criticised the movie, they have never again called me to watch any other movie....

Such is the mindset of people in AP/TN...People will fight on the streets if their hero is insulted... You will find a few good movies about 5 in a year in Telugu or Tamil....rest of them are just copies of copies of copies of copies....endless copies.

movie was a typical masala pot boiler, but the songs did rock. Ilayaraja Rocks.

But still the original movie in telugu and remake in Tamil ran in theaters for 200+ days, i do not see the same happening for Hindi.

Babu things have long since changed in Bollywood.
Today a movie is hit depending on how much money it makes at the box office. So basically if the movie is jam packed in most theaters for first two weeks, it is bound to do well (I am saying most,...includes UK,US,Canda).
With the huge amounts of movies in pipe line, there is no way a movie can be screened for 200 days. And plus all the movies made these days are only watchable once so there is no point for the theater owners to wait for 200 days .
Last I heard, SRK movie DDLJ was played for some mammoth amount of time. Some 700 weeks , yes u read corect .

i watched indra the tiger staring chiru and don number 1 starting nagu..and another nagu movie..with jyothika sadanah and rahul dev in it..with raghuvaran..forgot the name..all three were hilarious IMO..especially the third one where nagu creates a storm with his foot..lmao....

btw raghuvaran and nassar are one of my most fav actors from south.both of them actually live the character..i felt very sad when i heard about raghuvarans death.

Sometimes the problem is that the Telugu movies focus too much of action. The moment that happens the reality and charm is lost.

Recently my mom sent me a few dvd's from India. I loved the below...

1. Anand (Telugu movie)
2. Godavari (Telugu movie)
3. Raman Thediya Seethai (Tamil)
4. Satham Podathey (Tamil)

i shoud check these out...sad thing is in mumbai they are only found in the tamil dominated areas..and i dont think they have subbies..

Godavari is pretty decent. Anand, I may have seen... do not remember the title. There is another telegu movie that I liked, "Na Autobiography" or something. About a guy and 4 of this ex-flames.

The movie that Milanfalafali pai is talking about, where the hero creates a storm with his foot... "Mass". Classic movie... just turn off your brains and enjoy the fun. Raghuvaran, as usual, is good in this one too.

Mass....emm. The title itself should have given a hint that its not going to make a great movie. Anand was really good.

Her name is Charmi (or something like that). An irritatingly cute actress... she got an award for that "Sunday" original in telegu. She wasn't that irritating in that movie. Her name probably came because her mother was boinked on Charminar... I think... and/or maybe by our own Charmiran pai

Its 'naa autograph'. Its a nice movie. Remake of malayam movie though.

As for 'mass', you have lots of patience if you sat through the whole thing. I couldnt stand the first 10mins and stopped it.

As for jana05 comments on movie-goers in south, you are just stereotyping. Not everybody is like that. You seem to hang with the faltu crowd. Maybe its something in you that makes you hangout with such people?
