An Open Letter To Echarchans Hindus And Muslims

Less then 24 hours ago I started two separate thread one for Hindus and Muslims. Took me more then an hour of precious time.

I did start with comment that I AM BEING NAIVE AND CHILDISH PLACING MY FAITH AND TRUST IN THE HANDS OF ECHARCHANS.

Re-action of my friends has been proven me right and disppointing. Even Sutradarji himself has misunderstood my intentions. Over one thousand posts and you will not be able to point a single anti-muslim post placed by tantric or golden gan*d.

You see I like some of you am getting sick and tired of daily dose of poisonous posts Hindus and Muslims and Now Dalits throwing all kind tirades at each other. I am tired of going through thread after thread filled with fear, anger, suspicions and hatred between Hindus and Muslims. There are better and more pleasent things in life to discuss.


Sutradharji, Neither did I LIKE placing separate threads and FOR MUSLIM and FOR HINDUS tags on them. I hated placing those two threads more then anything else. But they are here to serve a purpose and I am glad despite all the suspicion of people I thought to be my friends, it has started the process.

Less then 24 hours and we already can see the results. Read the replies of our two Muslim friends and then read replies in HINDU thread. Where is the hatred? Where are the victims? We have a muslim who respects Hindus because each one has helped him get ahead in life. We have Hindus claiming Muslims have saved their lives.

Next time Aurangia comes in all we have to do is send them to these two threads and ask them to stop spreading hatred. Next time some one accuses our Muslim eCharchans of being Pakistani sympathizers send them to these two threads and tell them to shut the hell up.

Fellow Echarchans and friends, more of us participate in these two threads and let truth out, our love and respect for each other, more open communication we all will have in future. Better understanding we will have of each other. This I believe is good for us regulars at echarcha. THIS WAS NOT TO DIVIDE BUT TO UNITE!

We can not just stop discussing Hindu Muslim issues. We must but next time some Muslim friends will be less suspicious if a Hindu brother "Indian" expresses his thoughts on some religious subjects involving muslims. Next time some Hindus would be more comfortable if they read "downstirling" or "IA" speak on some Hindu problem.

SUCCESS OF THESE TWO THREADS WAS TO DEPEND ON OUR PARTICIPATION. OUR DISCUSSIONS. FEW GOOD PEOPLE WHO HAVE CAST ASIDE THEIR SUSPICION HAVE ALREADY PROVEN THAT

*WE ALL ARE INDIANS FIRST AND THEN ANYTHING ELSE.
*WE LOVE EACH OTHER.
*WE RESPECT EACH OTHER.
*NOT ALL OF US HAVE BEEN VICTIMIZED BY EACH OTHER.
*WE ARE WILLING TO RECOGNIZE WHO OUR ENEMIES ARE.
*NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE PRO PAKISTAN.
*NOT ALL HINDUS HATE MUSLIMS.
*HINDUS AND MUSLIMS DON'T JUST JOIN EACH OTHERS CELEBRATION TO FIGHT BUT OUT OF RESPECT.

THESE TWO THREADS ARE NOT TO DIVIDE BUT PRECISELY TO BRING US TOGETHER AT ECHARCHA AND EVENTUALLY IN ONE WEEK'S TIME WE WILL KNOW EACH OF US AS INDIANS.

AS I CAN SEE FROM REACTION OF MOST OF ECHARCHANS, THEN I WAS RIGHT .. I INDEED HAVE BEEN VERY NAIVE AND CHILDISH!
I AM DISAPPOINTED! IF AURANGIA, KARUNA, SUHASINI, KATE OR DALIT REFUSED TO PARTICIPATE I COULD FORGIVE THEM; BUT FOR PEOPLE WHO I THOUGHT HATED THIS CLIMATE OF ANGER BETWEEN OUR HINDU AND MUSLIM ECHARCHANS TO NOT TO PARTICIPATE AND FIND EXCUSES IS SOMETHING I CAN NEITHER UNDERSTAND NOT APPRECIATE.

Here is a chance for all of us to come clean and we decide to hide!

I guess I have to get used to idea of having to suspect everytime a good man like Shringarey posts a pro-muslim thread, after all what do I know of his feelings towards Hindus unless I go through thousand of posts and hundreds of threads.

Please forgive me for not recognising your intent. You can blame my attention towards work and tension of getting a new project.

But the title of the post was very provocative. On top of it there were two threads - one for Muslims and one for Hindus. Now this is an explosive combination and sure to get caustic reactions at first glance.

I agree that earlier we had Hindu Muslim and now Dalit topics causing aggaravation amongst eCharchans. Your topic is a welcome change.

Anyway, friend I am sorry and did not mean tohurt you.

I will reply to your threads tomorrow when I can get some time as I have to finish off one module and test it quickly.

and id like to clarify this...that it is not muslims that im against...never was..it was just their religion...

and i am still against n e 1 who is anti india be him a hindu or a muslim...and i dont know if you have noticed .. that i have ceased cursing religion on echarcha only because ..it hurts thhe feelings of a few good men

Chirag, I do not find anything wrong with discussing Hindu and Muslim problems. That is fine. I hope we can if possible create an environment where Muslims don't jump with fright every time a Hindu raises an issue involving them and same if some Muslim raises a topic and Hindus don't jump with panic.

Last few days I noticed few virginal looking threads where just an innocent remark by participator turned in to a riot.

In such a small group of regulars if we can know each others feelings well then we might be less suspicious of our intentions.

That happens because when you talk people see your emotions but when you write people dont know what your emotions are and what is your background, so everybody reacts according to their mental framework, like for example His Highness Karuna can never respond positively no matter how positive is the reply.
