Saw promos of Rock On. Hmm.. sorry I cannot see that Arjun Ramphal fellow. And such 'hi-fi' concept movies are for a saturday afternoon on dvd.

mukhbir???it was slotted for a release in June.damn..i think i would go for chamku.it is based on real story and directed by kabeer kaushik ,director of the movie seher.he handles the crime concept very well.chamku is a story of a young man who gets involved with naxalites in the red zone of somwhere in bihar,jharkhand or 36gadh..so i think its good..except bobby deol and priyanka..who are not made to act in sensitive movies

Just watched Rock On!

The movie is sensitive, but i thought its a bit too blue. The whole movie has been pictured under dim lights, which further adds to the dullness.

This movie hardly has any entertainment value. I wasn't expecting a David Dhawan, but this doesn't also have the DCH humor. However, i didn't got bored in the first half, but 2nd half was even more serious than the 1st !

Its getting good reviews, but i think it will be a big flop. I don't think even the multiplex audience will like it. Although its not a bad one, but its TOOOO blue with no blue scenes whatsoever.

I liked that Bengali machli skin chick.. saale ek-do scene dikha dete Ramphal chutiye ko bhi maja aata... itni badia item.. aur sala usko bajane ki bajae guitar baja raha hai puri picture mein.. salla he has got mari hue machli look through out the movie..

Plus point is music, and Farhan Akhtar.. classic debut.. he has got good acting skill, and he has also sung all of his songs well ..

Yeah, yeah.. some might call it cinematic excellence, or whatever , but i will stick to my opinion - its too dull. Period.

Somebody review Chamku please. Sehar was a classic... and I am beginning to like Bobby Deol (after watching Nana Jaiselmar and Naqaab).

Baba khaski, main kya bola - Movies made by some so called 'intelligentsia' in Bollywood always suck. For example, most UTV produced films are always this 'high funda western' concept movies which dont give the desi zhatka.

Now who cares if ageing rock star status aspirants make it in life? And when you have the cheap low budget star cast like Ramphal and some babe from Zee TV serials, then you know what to expect. Only rarely does a low buudget film with relatively unknown actors is good. Case in point - Johhny Gaddar (but it had Dharamendra) and Bheja Fry.

chamku is a chutiacut movie.. sheer waste... i thought nothing would beat maan gaye mugal-e-azam this year.. but this is a class apart... better watch chamku n start disliking bobby deol again, before ur marriage gets in trouble sane pai ..

abe, i mean farhan has sung all his songs.. rock on! ke saare gaane usi ne gaye hai he IS the playback singer, i too was surprised cause uski awaaz to sardi type hee hai. par gano mein kamaal lag rahi hai.. may be cause rock valo ki awaaz unortho hee hoti hai.. like bryan adams

yeah.. WALL-E... forgot that.. its getting nice reviews too.. but i am not into animes.. there was another good one released a few months back.. cant get its name.. everyone was prasing it.. par apun ko genre hee nahi jamti

Its a DVD watch but a very good one at that.

i watched C Kompany today. surprisingly, it was better than my expectations (read no expectations), the best part was that it was just about 2 hours long (there were not any useless songs in between the story). plus the script offered a nice storyline which had good potential, thodi aur mehnat karate toh aur aachi bana sakate the
