Exclamation Re: how to open stubborn lids?

Here are two techniques.

1) Butterknife technique - This is free
Take a butter knife and use the handle and bang it against the edge of the seal on the lid. Then turn it all the way around making about eight dings in it. Now use your hand again to turn and VIOLA! it comes lose.

2) JarPop technique - This costs a few bucks
Here's a jar opener solution that's easier and safer than the "butter knife method". It's called JarPop, it costs just a few dollars at Linens n Things or Bed Bath & Beyond. It pops the vacuum so lids spin free. You just put it on the lid and lift it gently. You will hear the pop and then voila, the lid is loose. And the great thing is that the lid is not deformed so it stays re-sealable. You can see it on http://www.springmillcorp.com

See image attached and visit that site for more openers to open different types of bottles and jars.

Do not try the knife method in conjunction with Yeda's "hold it between your thighs" method coz. that is a very dangerous technique and you know "agar haathon say knife slip hua to"; whats gonna happen.

You should be able to find a Lid opener in the store and enjoy your juice. DB, US hai baba, yahaan sab kuch milta hai (made in China.).
