Banning from a Forum

Guys Im no expert thats why I ask. Well recently I have been banned looks like from a Landya forum, Paki forum to be forum for being too frank and it really burnt their asses it seems

Now how is this acheived do they ban my ip address or how. What happens if I go from say another PC or something how can anyone be banned/stopped , of course one can say block a user name but how does thiswork.

Just asking you tech savvy guys out of curiosity.

Depending on the bulletin board software, you can be banned by username and by IP address from within the software.

They can also ban you at the Apache webserver level by putting IP restrictions.

If they banned you for being 'too frank' about 'Pakistan', do you think its going to make any difference if you keep at it? They will never accept your views or even plain facts about Pak.

there are some websites who create reg entry!

(A website I know .... if you are downloading something and the # of downloads are resrticted)

its a good idea to use regcleaner utility and have a brief scan juss to check this as well.

tell their admin that you have goats that you wanna sell 'em... talk about great discounts on trade-ins.

Yaar if you are talking abt same forum (pukinews.com), the moderator there is bugger, even if you make slight comment abt puki and they banned you, I got banned from all my three PC, 2 @ office, 1 @ home (yup they ban based on IP and user both).

If fo(king funny man, those guys even dont believe news items from international papers and always complain indian baught all the media around the world

what if u have an ISP which give u a dynamic IP, like everytime u log on the net ur IP is different! will that work? (ie confuse the software into rejecting IP but still be able to log in the next time!)

and last year or so, i went to a paki site, which was hosted by bulletin (dont remember the name or url) and registered but they didnt email me!
