Assembly Elections in J&K
I am sooo happy.
National Conference is losing. Moreover Omar Abdullah has also lost his election. It seems that it will be a hung assembly with the Congress getting the largest number of seats. Thought the Congress is a lot responsible for the mess in J & K but still , I personally would prefer a national level party winning there instead of NC or any other regional party. I believe that a national level party's government in J & K can be a BIG step in ending militancy.

HAHAHA Omar Abdullah was trying to be sarcastic during counting.
Asked what he would do in case he lost the seat, Abdullah sarcastically said, "In our family there has been a tradition to go to London." ![]() http://www.rediff.com/election/2002/oct/10jk9.htm

The Hurriet was caught with its pants down by the result which they maintained, until the other day, as being 'rigged'!
It also shows that, regardless of the canard and diatribe by the 'secularists' and the english press(the lackeys of the 'secularists') only the honesty and deep commitment to the best and most cherished tenets and traditions of democracy that the BJP and its admirers harbour, have ensured that the Kashmiris had the freeest and fairest elections in the past TWENTY YEARS!!! Bravo BJP--YOU REALLY ARE "THE PARTY WITH A DIFFERENCE"!! ALL THE BEST AND KEEP IT UP!!!! |
