Syria's darkest hour: Hundreds of children's bodies piled high after nerve gas attack near Damascus leaves up to 1,300 dead

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-300-dead.html

Seen enough?

A lesson for us, silly hearted Indians: Get serious about National Security and as soon as possible about it. The world won't even care about us Indians, we don't have oil and have zero confidence in our government's ability to protect us from such a wretched fate.

Dont have words to describe the anguish.R.I.P
USA can take some action to stop further such attacks but only if the coming govt agrees to their policies. In short nothing for humanity only for their gains.

Most of the children seem alive to me...used for fabricating evidence. I have seen pictures of Iranian media when Saddam used nerve gas on Iran. These seem to be a joke.

To be honest, I dont know what happened in Syria beyond the basics that there was some conflict between the people and the President (Assad).

What really happened all along that they had to kill kids?

Okay I read this website:

Explainer: Whatís Going on in Syria?

and then saw this chart which explains what's sort of happening in the entire middle east.

The Middle East, explained in one (sort of terrifying) chart

So basically its the age old story about all Arab countries - The people dont want a dictator and the dictator will do anything to stay in power! Sad but true.

Minorities don't want a dictator of opposite clan/cult/sect. The Alawites and other Shias in Syria are fine with Assad...Sunnis aren't. Saudi and Qatar are Sunni so enemies of Syria. Hezbollah and other Shias in Lebanon are supportive of Syria. Shia in Iraq have no problem with Syria, Sunnis do...

Russians and Chinese don't want U.S and Israel to be the Batman and Robin in the region...hope you get the idea..

What you are saying is that we really do not have to bother with what's happening... and they can just go on with whatever they are doing. At the end the world will be a better place 'cos there will fewer terrorists once the dust settles down.

US should stay out of this. Let the Syrians settle their own score and handle the mess.

Yes, but wars are perfect means to benefit your patrons (defense industries who sell weapons and construction giants who then rebuild a country) while diverting attention from other stuff that may lead to public outcry.
