Thumbs up Corporate

Madhur Bhandarkar's movies are becoming like reality shows on AXn channel
anyway ..watched this movie yesterday. Bitter truth about corporate world. I say it is a must watch movie. Though i expected the way movie would go, but Madhur's taking and screen play is excellent
The fact about Pesticides in soft drinks, and how corporates keep aside ethics to make fast money...were some interesting points in the movie.
Bipasha looks attractive
overall i liked the movie.

Grrrrrrrreat Movie !!!!!!

Madhur's getting better, with each of his flick, though he was excellent right from Chandni Bar (Satta & Page 3 to follow). He has got the talent to rightly mix up theme cinema with commercial & his story narration is too good. He is the next Raj Kapur (shows the dark side of society). To me he is the best director in India today

Realty Cinema Rocks !!!!!!!!

Re: Corporate

Saw this movie this weekend. An engrossing movie... not a single boring scene... which is how I like a movie. Great all round acting, though I wonder how anyone can say that Bips is attractive Looks cross-eyed most of the time. The girl in Raj Babbar's team was definitely more attractive.

Just one question, why are our heroines always shown in modern dresses, power suits et al throughout most of the movie... and the moment they go to their sasurals... sarees, salwar-kameezes? Same thing in this movie too... why

if you think about the movie, it was nothing special as the media calls it. It was a usual Hindi picture... just showing business rivalry instead of the 'main tere khandaan se badla loonga' type.

I could not agree more, sprainless pai

Bips is just photogenic...otherwise, she is ugly.

I wish Mad-hoor Bund-haar-kar had assigned the Gulabrao character role to Govind Namdeo...I just like his ringing voice

I am amazed by exposition of corporate culture via Peon-Peon interaction, or a bodyguard-bodyguard interaction. It is quite original idea

The exposition of "political saint" role in corporate maneuvring was executed with finesse

I think Madhur should explore the exposition of such things in a more comical manner, a la "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron" concept

Who cares about the media... there are some really dumbass movies which the media just adores. A movie should be how a movie should be. If a director has an idea and he presents it effectively and extracts good acting from the actors, it is a great movie. Else we have those Mrinal Sen types who would show a door for 10 minutes... a door that has nothing to do with the story

How come nobody has answered my question? why plain-jane clothes in sasural

Because by and large, Indian mother-in-laws audience have not yet acclimatized to their daughter-in-laws moving around the house showing their shaved legs and thighs

does that answer your question, spinless pai?

But Durdhwani pai, if these daughter-in-laws are indeed trying to impress their to-be m-i-ls, why do they prance around most of the movie showing their shaved legs and thighs? It is like they do this to impress their to-be hubbies and... wham... as soon as they get married, they forget them and go for their mothers

To answer your question pointless-but-always-argue pai. Suits are for office - Formals . Saree, salwar is - Casual.
Only people that wear suits and home and never seen in office are those two dudes from TV serial Saloni.
