In that case, we in Gujarat are lucky that they are already in power here, right? We are experiencing the benefits of their agenda and hence we recall with good feeling the BJP rule at the centre.

No body cares or gives a damn about BJP's Development,Agenda, Honesty etc etc.

Even in Gujrat they got just 15 seats out of 26 seats in 2009 Elections. Congress got 11 seats which is not a bad performance at all.

People want caste, subcaste based handouts.

You saw what happened in Rajasthan when the Gujars asked for reservation. If it had been Congress, they would have promised double the reservation than what Gujars demanded. Poor Vasundhara just sat sipping whiskey

For me, that's a good reason to keep congress out There are people who give their vote for development, security, agenda etc..

And Randheer, the reason for 2009 debacle was bad selection of candidates, Modi favorites instead of candidates having more grass-root support and approval.

You are fortunate to be in Gujarat under Modi's rule. Bihar is seeing better days under Nitish.

But the unfortunate thing is that we Indians dont like good things for long as Randheer bhau would put it. You will see that soon the same folks who are getting benefits will soon wish for good old days of Congress and vote them in power.

She killed some 50 Gujjars in Police Firing. To cut her short the Congress Government of Rajsthan now gives Cold Drinks to Protestors and Vandalizers .

A.P Government is too trigger happy and keep killing lot people in police Firings still it never became a National issue. But when Chandra Babu Naidu or BJP do it it becames a national issue. It is incompetency of these political parties that they can't manage.

Yeah. I remember the good old days of congress here, with a CM receiving convicted bootlegger at the airport, any sort of govt. clearances taking months unless you had the right connections and the fragrant grease.

You have nailed it on the head. Do you remember Jain TV? They were the lone supporter of BJP in the media, but the BJP managed to never support them nor ensure their success. The channel has closed since a long time.

Yeah.. and the Rae Bareilly riots?? There was a media clampdown for > 2 weeks and nary a wimp from the "Free Media". But in 2002 the media had a free run and nobody lauded their freedom.

Lightbulb What is the case in which Amit Shah is framed

What CBI chargesheet against Amit Shah says
Last updated on: July 24, 2010 13:53 IST

The Central Bureau of Investigation has charged Gujarat's Minister of State for Home Affairs Amit Shah with murder, extortion, kidnapping and criminal conspiracy.

The chargesheet filed in the Sohrabuddin encounter case spells out the role allegedly played by Shah and police officers in the case, though it is vague about how the minister got mixed up with the murderous plot.

What the chargesheet says

The CBI states Sohrabuddin was trying to extort money from owners of marble factories in Rajasthan. He set up a gang along with Tulsi Prajapati and killed his nearest rival Hamid Lala in 2002, the CBI chargesheet states.

In 2004, Sohrabuddin threatened the owners of RK Marbles. Its owners reportedly had good relations with the police in that state.

At this juncture, the CBI chargesheet alleges Amit Shah came into the picture and ordered Sohrabuddin's killing. He contacted then deputy inspector general of police, Gujarat, D G Vanzara, who asked Shah how to go about it, since there was no case registered against Sohrabuddin in Gujarat.

Shah, the CBI claims, told Vanzara that this was his 'headache' and he needed to book a case against Sohrabuddin and get the job done.

Vanzara, the chargesheet adds, got in touch with Abhay Chudasama, then the head of the Ahmedabad [ Images ] police's crime branch, and booked Sohrabuddin in a case in Gujarat.

Chudasama contacted Tulsi Prajapati and told him that he had to bring Sohrabuddin to Gujarat. The CBI alleges Vanzara also met Prajapati and assured him that Sohrabuddin would not be killed.

Vanzara, the chargesheet adds, told Prajapati that there was political pressure, but assured him that the police would just arrest Sohrabuddin. Based on this assurance, Prajapati provided information about Sohrabuddin's whereabouts.

Vanzara and Chudasama then took a Qualis [ Images ] vehicle, owned by a local businessman, and intercepted a bus aboard which Sohrabuddin was travelling with his wife Kausarbi near Dingola.

The CBI alleges the two Gujarat police officers asked Sohrabuddin to get down from the bus, but Kausarbi, his wife, insisted that she would go along with him.

In the meanwhile, Gujarat police officers shifted Prajapati to Rajasthan on the basis of an old case lodged against him.

Sohrabuddin was later killed, and the police claimed the death was an encounter.

Kausarbi was shifted to a farm and later killed. Her body was taken to Vanzara's hometown Illole, burnt. The ashes were thrown into the Narmada river.

The chargesheet states that Sohrabuddin's brother Rubabuddin petitioned the Supreme Court to investigate his brother's death. Chudasama, the CBI alleges, approached Rubabuddin and offered him Rs 50 lakh (Rs 5 million) to withdraw the case. When he refused, the CBI claims Chudasama threatened to kill Rubabuddin like his brother.

Thats why I said 'I believe in our justice system'

Yaar, all on our site and outside who chant BJP should seriously make those morons in BJP listen to and learn from Congress. BJP just does not get it about how to manage things, manage media, play caste based politics, etc.

Randheer bhau, that is why I have decided to appreciate and learn from COngress and no more follow a fresher like BJP who has been given so many chances but they still fail in the first grade all the time.

But BJP's incompetency lies in the fact that in a case where one inspector or some Junior Officer should have been punished these stupid morons got their DGPs, their IPS Officers first and then later their Home Minister .

What did these stupid people thought that Acting so pious they will get brownie pointsof Media and they will appear Adarshwadi Ram rajya. Good that they are royally Screwed up,will learn some lesson.
