Thumbs down Gujarat Assembly dissolved as Modi quits

Looks like it's election time again

Reminds me of that 'Band Karo Matdaan' poem

Gujarat Assembly dissolved as Modi quits
PTI
New Delhi, July 19

Recommending dissolution of the Gujarat Assembly, the Narendra Modi government has resigned.

Chief Minister Narendra Modi, accompanied by his cabinet colleagues met governor SS Bhandari, and handed over the cabinet resolution recommending dissolution of the house and his resignation.
The governor is understood to have asked him to continue as caretaker chief minister.

Modi announced the decision in the urgent cabinet meeting he had called.

The decision to dissolve the assembly will pave the way for holding of elections in the state in October. The term of the Asembly was to expire in March 2003.

Angry Modi MadarC***D..

saala just when things seem to head towards normal this bastard wants to rile things up again.

This is not good.. utter nonsense and a very brash invokation of communalism in politics

About Modi govt.

Well that is the way things work in India. Opposition parties call for no confidence motions at the drop of a hat. Then some ruling parites call for elections thinking they can get more votes and seats and form a govt. on their own without coalition partners.

Elections are a farce in India due to their frequency.

GpeL - If your zip file exceeds a certain size you will face such problems. Or maybe the eCharcha server was having some problems. Anyway I see the zip in yoru post.

Yaa it hickupd the first time then second time went thru. It is a jpg file with hard core "blessings" so did not want to post it like we post other pics that way sensitive folks can decide not to look at it.

I love that poem though.

Bastard Modi is playing again the communal game,

Its very bad to hear that modi is now telling that 98% of gujrat was unaffected, and things are normal in gujrat.

I dont know to whom is he trying to fool by telling this. There is no doubt that he will win the polls again with a far better majority than he won last time.

But will the citizens in his state will feel secure if he comes again?????????????????

Or is this hijra capable of protecting the citizens??????????????

Yes.

There is a saying in Guju - "Chor na bhai ghantichor," (ask someone else for explanation as I am not sure how to explain it) that applies to all the politicians. In my opinion... Modi is the best chor I can afford to rule Gujarat. I am happy with him as long as Gujarat is not ruled by Keshubhai Patel, Shankarsinh Vaghela or some other Congressi.

Besides... we have other things to worry about, like Bihar!

Thumbs up Welcome Move By Narendra Modi

This is the best news in this month. Gujarat requires a new govt with a fresh mandate. And what better time to have elections there than now. There is calm in the state the violence has ebbed.

There were people who wanted Modi to go. Now that he's gone people dont want that either! Afterall the people have to decide their own future.

It is to be noted that there is no state in India where mob violence never takes place. Kahmir is a state where ethnic cleansing of Hindus has taken place and not just that even some Muslims have been killed but yet Kashmir is going to the polls. Andhra pradesh is a state whose Rayalseema province is infested with PWG naxals there is no rule of law there but that has never prevented elections being held there. The state of affairs in Bihar,UP and Assam is well known to us I need not elaborate on that but elections are held there regularly. So why have a different yardstick for Gujarat?

Congress party is ready for elections in Gujarat once it is put under Presidents rule. Now they accuse the state being ruled by Shri Narendra Modi by proxy until elections if Presidents rule is imposed they will accuse Shri L.K. Advani of ruling it by proxy.

The bottomline is the so called self declared secularists and Kaaangress people know that BJP is going to win and they dont want that. Quite frankly they dont even want the state to regain complete normalcy. So they are crying foul to prevent elections.

What better way than now to get a kind of referendum from the people themselves about the handling of the riots by Shri. Narendra Modi?

Article for people who consider it savvy to condemn Narendra Modi blindly

He's not fooling anyone if 2-3 lakh people were living in camps after being displaced it harly amounts to a small miniscule percentage of Gujarats 5 Crore polulation. Even that number has reduced and only 19,000 people are now living in camps the rest have gone home.So he was stating only facts.

I would like to know from you should the elections in Kashmir be prevented too? And your honourable opinions on Kasmiri Hindus living in camps for more than 10 long years?

What has the Cock_sucker Farooq Abdullah done for them and why is he insisting on elections and that too with 'FULL AUTONOMY' for Kasmir as the election agenda for National Conference?

Your brothers too understand importance of elections

Even your Pakistani brothers understand that delaying elections causes enormous problems for people so why dont you understand it?

Hyderabadi and Mohammed Gaaliwalla,

Why don't you come out with real hard facts instead of poring choicest Gaalis?

This is certainly no sign of a literate and educated man.

I think ,even in a forum like Echarcha we expect certain decorum.
Earlier you understand better will it be for you.
