Law Abiding Citizen - a review

This is not a new movie, couple of years maybe but had recorded it some time back on dish on a whim. Saw this last night... haven't completed it yet so do not know how it ends. But the movie is a stunner... a totally unexpected thriller and I now totally looking forward to what happens next and how it ends.

The movie starts out with a bang, unlawful entry into the hero's home, murder of wife and girl while the hero is tied down and watching. One of the two guys is a sadistic guy, who then is set free on some legal deal... while the other is sentenced to death. It then seems to settle down to a simple revenge story... maybe taking some legal recourse. But it twists suddenly... and then there are twists... and more twists. And suddenly it seems to be larger than what you expected it to be.

This is a R-rated movie... not for the weak or young. There are murders galore... with lots of blood and gory violence. You may almost think you are watching a grade-A hindi movie... one of those Andha Kanoon types where the hero is the know-it-all and has to get 'em all
