To use your own argument, he was willing to sacrifice his life. He could have lived a life of ease and luxury. But he lived a life on the run. He believed the West was screwing Muslims, and he was a fervent believer in his own cause.

To use your own argument, you can admire him because he was willing to sacrifice his own life to prove his own irrelevant point.

We cannot deny Laden was a man of history. He changed the world for the worse, but still he managed to do so.

But my admiration for his character is not sympathy for his beliefs. I support his death, Not respecting your enemy and his true nature can be fatal during the course of a war.

Hmm ... Bin Laden was an extremely wealthy individual. It's interesting ... the choices he made in his life.

He could have lived a life of great luxury with his money. Yet he was driven by something else. People who are so fervent (or fanatical, if you will) about their beliefs would be a very difficult fit in a liberal democracy.

So it's no surprise that the form of govt he would have favoured is an authoritarian Islamic theocracy.
