Re: Tried any Weapon ?

do my nails and teeth count?

i did try this ingenious weapon recently - was at a hotel where they had a special security guard appointed to shoo away birds that flew into the premises. The gun was called 'bird scaring gun' and resembled those rifles they'd have on juhu beach to shoot balloons.

...of course it was a completely different matter altogether that each time he'd take aim and shoot, the bird wouldn't have moved an inch... simply hilarious.

Gulel... loved it
Talwar... never used it on anyone..
I had a good collection of knives..almost 30 to35... from nepali khukhri to kashmiri blunt chaaku
Mugdar... if it is counted as a weapon
Bow and arrow... then bow which propels stones.. kind of modified gulel.. many times hit my hand with that...
0.22/303 rifles in NCC
In hostel we used to have iron rods...cycle chains, nanchuck..... never had to use... but were effective weapons...
Then that thing...perhaps called knucles or fighter... steel stuff you can wear on your fingers...

Yes to both

Edit: In Canada it is illegal. So I do not carry it unless i suspect I am going to be very late returning from work. But yes, I do have a pepper spray. my daddy bought it for me a long time ago.

Re: Tried any Weapon ?

Played with the following, in no particular order (in 45 and 9mm calibers):
Kimber Custom (M1911 clone)
Glock 21
Springfield Armory XD
Glock 36
Smith and Wesson (both 45 ACP and 9mm)
Ruger P90
Can't remember most of the 9mm weapons I've fired, the only one I remember is S&W to be honest. Also played around with my Bihari cousin's Daisy Air Gun as a kid. For my money, the best looking one has to be the Kimber Custom (beautiful stainless steel), but for accuracy, I love the Glocks and the Springfield Armory XD. I'm planning to acquire one of these weapons some time next year and I think it is going to be a Glock. It may look a bit plasticky and ugly, but it is accurate as heck + I've heard it is more reliable than the XD. So screw the looks, I say. Only decision is whether to get a Glock 17 (9 mm) or Glock 21 (45 ACP) or Glock 23 (.40 S&W). I'm leaning more towards the 45 ACP right now, but rounds are more expensive for that than 9mm. Gonna try out the 21SF (slim frame) and 21C (compensated) versions of the above as well before I make my choice.

Never tried any firearms.. the usual childhood things - bow & arrow, gulel etc.

Yes, does lathi count? had a few lessons in self-defence in scouts.
