Thank you. Will keep in mind. I like Nana Patekar at any rate.

Re: Congress Descending Into It's Grave

One more, Rahul, on that argument you make. Jaise praja, waise raja.

I know it's late ... there's no need for you to respond. Please read it later.

When you say this, aren't we just lumping people together into one homogeneous, indistinguishable glob? Aren't we ignoring something important: individual variance? Aren't we ignoring the uniqueness of human beings?

For sure, we are shaped in many ways by our social environment, but this doesn't mean we are all the same. We pick a few things from this environment, we discard a few things, and we might rebel against a few. That's what makes us unique as humans.

With this "raja, praja" argument, we shove all the differences under the carpet and imagine everyone is the same, don't we? Isn't that problematic?

One more, Rahul, on that argument you make. Jaise praja, waise raja.

Consider Laloo. His reign in Bihar was no good for Bihar. Kidnappings galore in Patna, etc.

Then Nitish Kumar wins.

Please take a few minutes to read this. I read this. It won't take long:

Nitish Kumar: India's Man from Hope? (March 20, 2012)

This is what is called decent leadership far superior to that provided by Ms. Gandhi. Nitish Kumar tries to do whatever he can even though the conditions and the environment aren't good.

OK. If Nitish Kumar had turned out just like Laloo, you'd have used your "raja, praja" argument. Now you can't. There is a clear distinction between the two men. And that is why you shouldn't lump everyone together, as you do with that "raja, praja" argument. That argument ignores individual variance.

BJP will be single largest party but may not form government. Commies and parties like Lallu and Mulla will gang up with Congress using `secular` figleaf. Congress going to lose seats in a big way in AP and Maha. AP may go to YSRC and TDP and Maha may vote for BJP-SS. AP last time was the crucial state that boosted Congress to victory, this time around they are going to get messed up because of AP.

CPM and Laloo will be in no position to do anything. CPI+CPM may get 10 seats overall and Laloo may go into oblivion. Kangress if it does badly in Maharashtra and AP it will only end up getting 100 seats.

Therefore if BJP were to get 190+ seats the following could be the arithmetic..

BJP - 190
Shiv Sena - 15
Akali Dal - 15
Nitish Kumar - 20
Haryana Vikas Kangress - 5
Asom Gana Parishad - 5
AIADMK - 25
Ajit Singh (always with the ruling party) - 3

This amounts to 278. What is required for govt. formation is 275. With that much with the BJP, the opportunistic parties like Trinamool, Kangress (Jagan)/TDP, BJD (Naveen Patnaik), BSP etc could also veer towards the BJP.

The key is BJP reaching 190+ Which I feel is crucial.
