The other items on his bucket list include watching paint dry and observing grass grow.

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

Watched this movie on Netflix, something called "Ishqnedarddiya" or "Ishqsardardhai"... could never figure out the exact title of the movie. But what surprised me what that they actually cast a gold-digger as the lead lady, with no negative connotations. Not even a single... actually portrayed her as a saint. A quick story, in Ehchara pai's style,

- Super-rich bhompu-looking guy hears from a reporter that his father bamboozled someone back in his village in Punjab before making it big in NYC.

- So Bhompu goes back to India to make amends, giving a oath that he will give half his money to the family his father tricked... around 250 mil, in US dollars... yes.

- Traces the family to some scenic place somewhere in HP... or some place. Only grandma and daughter have survived.

- Daughter is the gold-digger, who goes around looking for money... in the form of donations for her broken-down school.

- Bhompu takes one look at gold-digger and falls heads-over-heels in love. He takes up a job as teacher and indicates he is super-poor.

- But alas, gold-digger has already set her sight on the local rich guy, who masquerades as a pop singer of Punjabi songs.

- Bhompu, being bhompu that he is, does his best to get them married. In fact, he gives away the gold-digger's share to the pop-singer's father... why, do not ask me

- Gold-digger learns at the last minute that Bhompu is more richer than pop-singer and his father combined... and runs away from the marriage ceremony.

- Gold-digger runs all the way to the airport, where Bhompu is getting ready to leave the country.

- Yes, at some point, hero learns that it was not his honest-dad who bamboozled the family but someone else with the same name. But too late.

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

There are a host of James bond movies.
Caught Casino Royale. The villain in that movie is now the hero in Polar.
