who am i talking to here.. character assassination doesn't only mean sexual conduct.. such typical Indian thinking on your part.

Character assassination is a deliberate and sustained process that aims to destroy the credibility and reputation of a person, institution, social group, or nation

Dutty.. kaiko apna BP badhaa riyaa hai. And same goes to Rakhiji.. not worth it..

A horse with a blinder is a horse but it can only see that much.. ankh ke andhe ko raasta dikhaa sakte ho.. jo andhe hone ka bahaana kare us ko ya jo akkal ka andhaa ho usko kabhi raasta nahi dikhaa sakte.

They say.. arrest gay diplomats in India.. curb exports (no kidding it was in the news) and cancel Import permits of the diplomats here..

I say why that .. cut of all diplomatic relations with Ameria and go back to stone age. You know khullar mein chai.. and go back to your own no imports (anyone exporting anything to India will face curbs in USA).. lets see..

Paani se naaraz ho kar gand mat dho.. paani ko koi farak nahi padtaa tumhari gand se hi badboo ayegi. doh!!!

Oh dirty pai.. while you are looking up the meaning of certain terms do also look up the meaning for few other words.. idiocy, shenanigans, scumbags, morons, con artists, cheats, and also the phrase frog in a well etc.. ok you will get an idea of who you are attempting a discussion with and expecting rational thoughts or debate or arguments or such nice things.

Without knowing the least about an official you both are commenting on her personal things, shopping, etc.. She is allowed a domestic help with special visa, so why shouldn't she? Like I said there are lots of things in play some of which I learnt watching the TV debates.

You have a tendency to read things in the wrong manner.. you even started a thread on it I recall.
I am in no position to comment on Dirtys post but I recommend you go back and read Devyanis post and then my post. It was "her" who brought her personal shopping preferences and her preference about how "she" travels.

She is allowed for domestic help...maybe. What she is not allowed is pay less than the minimum wage.

I hate to say this but you disappoint me in this post. You claim I have the holier than thou attitute but you are forgetting, you are worshiping anything Indian without even stopping to consider she has committed a crime if she was paying less than the minimum wage.

I have already said that strip search and dna was not needed and my sympathies with the lady. What is your problem if I question why she was paying less wage in the first place? I am allowed to question right?

Re: Devyani Khobragade incident: What's your take?

dirty pai, some people will extend the argument all people are equal. so equal WRT law..

But then when it comes to doleouts and subsidies, they will claim historical discrimation qualifies them for the same because their great great grand father was treated badly.. and so somehow we are to pay for that. But that is equality. They are red hot when it comes to climbing the ladder but not even luke warm when it comes to putting up the effort.. err.. is 22 percent not enough for IIT?

They will put up with any amount of inconvinience and/or botheration provided it is not happening to them.

Oh I have to drop my kids to school in subway.. doh!! that is what is called life in a metro.. you nitwit.

No but I am from the backward class.. there should be a govt provided limo no?

Where do you start to make sense with these kinds? So once I get the farthest inclination of a person of that kind, I prefer to preserve my sanity.

Re: Devyani Khobragade incident: What's your take?

Most of the posts don't merit a response, but I'll oblige one last time because of multiple appreciative reps I get from echans every time I Pelu and Dirty. Even in this thread.

Dirty.. that slut thing was an example. I never attributed those words to you, but you are guilty of character assassination, of that I'm sure. And anybody can see how racist you are by reading your and Pelu's comments like "calling a bhangan a bhangan".

Thankfully for the first time Pelu wrote a post one can read, with proper sentence construction.. learning from his kids I gather. But I'm saddened that you both are/must be teaching your kids the bias and filth you carry dearly in your dirty minds.

Rakhi.. I don't care much if you are disappointed. I was too when you instead of defending/standing up for a woman, you are joining these morons in over analyzing when you have incomplete data.

P.S. keep reading the news, its already clear that the maid lady has been trying to negotiate by using her lawyers and when Devyani did not yield, she has complained on false grounds. Meanwhile the maid's family has flown to US only recently.. might just teach you guys to learn to wait for data before theorizing.

Re: Devyani Khobragade incident: What's your take?

I read about the difference in Consular Immunity and Diplomatic Immunity in the local papers with reference to this case.

It seems the authorities treated her with standard procedure without regard to consular immunity.

I am not an expert but this whole case reeks of some nonsense on part of Khobragade. I mean why would she file an injunction in a court in Delhi when the alleged victim was in the USA? Why did she not file a complaint with the US police stating that her maid had absconded or was black mailing her?

Also Ms Khobragade is a doctor but how come she became a consular employee with consular 'commerce department' ? The answer may be that either she is a RAW agent or her father is very influential. And he is as he was head of the BEST bus service and held other high posts before retiring.

Anyway, this is going to be a storm in a tea cup and people will forget the moment some more scandals erupt in our newspapers.

as for taking subway...its quicker than driving and hence she takes it, like every other millionaire in NY.
She is a diplomat. She represents India.
Not a miserable coder.
Her maid is the criminal here.

She surely is not a millionaire. She is not a corrupt politician.

What has happened to you guys? Where are your sensitivities? She is an Indian woman who was abruptly taken and strip searched, handcuffed and made to look like a criminal.

Her maid and her family who flew to US 2 days before Devyani's violation by USA, are the criminals.... they sholud to be deported and jailed in India.

Forget it man, your and mine words are wasted here. They are calling her a bhangan, bitch, etc. These guys are high on their egos, American/Canadian citizenship.. You can clearly see who all are and how they wait for a chance to bring it in discussions. They will vouch for anything goras say.
