Slowly, by his bollywood antics, he wins over quite a number of people... but not the one he needs to... to save his life. So aagey kya hota hai... go and watch the movie.

Well acted and directed. There are no good guys or bad guys... everyone wants to do what is right, whether their right is right or wrong.

I will not watch it again but good for a one-time see

You see, we do not bring our hatred into movie-watching or making

Then you could also catch up on 'Leftist Sufi' it is a documentary on Aziz Mirza. It has stills from Nukkad plus the man complaining about Hindutva and Capitalism.

But I do not like documentaries. What I like to see is well-made masala-movies. Should be interesting... made for the audience to enjoy (and sometimes the actors). Don't like movies where only the director enjoys and everyone else is left holding their head in their hands

Second this comment. I also liked how they ended it. Good acting by relatively no-name actors.

Red face Re: Netflix movies worth watching

Hate Story series
I dont know if you will like these movies, but they were on Netflix and I watched them over a number of days as timepass.

Hate Story 1
The story is really simple - A woman gets wronged and the proverbial 'hell hath no fury like a woman scorned' comes into play and she destroys those who wronged her.

Hate Story 2
The story is really simple - A woman gets wronged and the proverbial 'hell hath no fury like a woman scorned' comes into play and she destroys those who wronged her.

Hate Story 3
The story is really simple - A woman gets wronged and the proverbial 'hell hath no fury like a woman scorned' comes into play and she destroys those who wronged her.

You might think I made a copy paste mistake, but no! The three movies have the same theme. The director has taken the concept from Sidney Sheldon novels where a female character is the protagonist and has added Bollywood masala, sex and some songs. That's it.

The lead characters are all newcomers, at least to me as I have never seen them before. Maybe in a tv ad or a tv show, but definitely none of them were known to me. Their acting is just okay.

I think these films, if they did well at the box office, have connected with a certain kind of audience who wants full on masala and lots of sex in a movie. It has dollops of both.

Are these great movies? No.

Are they timepass? Yes if you use the remote to fast forward certain scenes which are boredom inducing.

Should you watch them? If you have nothing at all to do, then yes, for timepass!

Re: Netflix stuff worth watching

Not a movie but a good series on untold stories behind musical gems of Bollywood from 1950-75. The golden years with Javed Akhtar

My only complain is there's less of entertaining content than Javed talking. Say he mentions the song .. 'chhod do anchal zamana kya kahega' .. and plays like 10 secs .. I'm into the song and then klpd
