dirty baba, I dont defend Raj, but he is doing what others have been doing - He is trying to get a foot hold in the Jet Airways workers' union. Right now only CITU is representing the workers, but Raj wants to get a union inside the airlines workers so that it can benefit his party MNS.

All our political leaders know that having a union in any significant industry ensures support, funds and prominence when it comes to elections. While his actions are not in favour of industrial progress, he is definitely learning the ropes fast where politics and unionised labour nexus is concerned.

But I understand that its India and one can move anywhere - except Kashmir but thats another topic - and settle down.

So I oppose Raj resorting to such tactics, which are clearly aimed at the coming elections. If Raj was sincere, then when he was in the Shiv Sena and had more power and influence, he would have raised this issue then. Balasaheb is not foolish to raise this issue because in today's times it does not work.

Anyway, let Raj jump and prance as much as he wants. The polls will show him his place.

I am just correcting points with facts, it's no shape or form suggests my support to anyone.

Its not anti-north. Its just anti-UP/Bihar. In fact he has given examples of Gujjus and Rajasthanis and south indians as role model migrants to Maharashtra with respect to adaptability. He is against multiplicity of people flowing to Maharashtra and not against anybody coming to Mumbai from outside.

We think that all politicians are fool and but its other way around, they make us fool everytime. He is no fool to dream about anything realistic this election or any near future election. He is thinking about long term. See how he turned this JET issue into his favour. When in fact he did nothing than giving awaj in paper. Nobody cares what CITU did or what SHIVSENA did or what aviation minister did. Raj made sure that he is in limelight.

Also to win elections (atleast in Maha), you need strong local leaders, not just one single leader. All this awaj to grab attention and be in limelight. You guys don't get news about how MNS is doing locally but if you read Marathi paper you will get idea. MNS is involved in local agitations against like electrivity boards, education scams, water problems etc. But only big issue is highlighted.

He did. Remember attack on Railway exam to attack biharis by SS? Raj was in SS that time. Also remember that Raj had no last word when it came to making decisions. In MNS he is on his own. When you run party you can't run your own agenda, party decided it.

You can stay in denial mode as long as you want. He is not interested in polls or power in near future and whatever poll results be, he is gaining popularity among youth. He lost badly in Muncipal elections but he bounced back. He will lose again, but will make sure that his vote% is on rise and in next 10-12 years he will have realistic chance of winning.

ask him to do the same with AI, then we would believe him. If JET went with the cuts, he could not have done anything

Re: Raj Thackeray opposes Jet Airways layoffs

ShivSainik,

See It is against UP and Bihar because people are poor in Bombay from these states and he can't dare do the against Punjabis/Gujratis as they will kick his a** hard.

UP/Bihar respected BalaSahab Thakrey thats why they tolerated so much nusisance but now it is crossing limits.

For Maharashtra major leaders are Sharad pawar/Vilas Rao Deshmukh/Chagan Bhujbal etc.He stands no where.

Shivshena comes distant 4 and MNS probaly 6th. What is his aukat. Sharad Pawar is biggest marathi leader because of 60000 crore farm loan waiver most of the money would go in suicide prone Vidharbha belt which will benifit crores or farmers.

For whom Raj is fighting, just thousand of coward city dwellers.

Raj should remmeber if UP Police can hand over terrorists from Azam Garh they could also go and pick up him and his goondas from Bombay and one night with UP Police will make him understand how good goondagardi is.

Re: Raj Thackeray opposes Jet Airways layoffs

ShivSainik,
You must appreciate the patriotism of UP/Bihar people how much you hate them. See DMK for Srilankan Tamils is ready to pull down Congress Government in centre .Has anybody from UP/Bihar suggested that.

Raj is a rich guy, born and brought up in good and papmpered environment. He doesn't understand what harms Goonda Gardi can bring.

Original leaders of Maharshtra are NCP leaders who represent the actual Maharashtra. I hope BJP ties up with NCP and kick ass of Shivsena.

NCP leaders are the one who are bringing the maximum benefit to maharshtra.
Raj will only become a Bhindrawala and will convert Maharshtra into Punjab
which will pull it back by 10 years.

Once thick chums are now apparently sore adversaries.

Why is the UP dominated leadership of the BJP still silent to the tantrums of their regional ally?
