It seems India is going to send its team for CT.
Very bad.

Indians do India more harm than others. First Shashank Manohar then Vinod Rai.

Bad luck of India to have these people as its citizens.

Re: For cricket fans

People are divided over this decision. People in favor of this decision are saying that it is for benefit of Indian cricket fan.

I , for one, am against it because it shows BCCI going back on its stand. We should have seen how would CT look like without India. Almost certainly ICC would be brought down to its knee and have yielded to BCCI's rightful demand.

Anyways, this can happen in the next tournament as well.

I agree. We should not have gone. I dont see how it benefits India by contributing more to the kitty and getting less of it. Hope desi fans do the job that COA did not do. If they show less interest, advertisers will desert and ICC will be hurt. We want the BCCI hegemony to continue in cricket. Saala yahan pe bhi Goron ki madad karne aa gaye cricket ke Jaichands.

Re: For cricket fans

The world might be envious of desi's ability to destroy something good. It is sad to note Kohli Kumble spat. What a piece of crap! Why doesn't Kohli achieve some more before trying to dictate. I have no doubt now this guy is hell bent on destroying himself. With all the talent in the world he doesn't not have an ounce of good temperament to maximise his contributions and achievements.

Hope Kumble excuses himself and moves on. If the board has any sense, they will appoint Moody. I admire Sehwag a lot and consider him as our biggest match winner ahead of the big 3 or 4, but he is not a coach material by any stretch of imagination.

Re: For cricket fans

^^ Kumble should be excused for having conflict of interest.. Kohli is aggressive and Kumble is not.. can't match frequency.

Kya destroy.. kohli is setting cricket on fire.. he will leave Sachin behind. Kumble was such a non athlete.

Re: For cricket fans

I will be happy if he crosses Gavaskar, Dravid and ecstatic if he crosses Sachin. His Test record as it stands now is nothing extraordinary.

As to slouch on the field - different eras of fielding. But sure he is ahead of Kumble. What do you think an equivailent of 10 wkts in an innings would be for a batsman? I would think a 400. Let's see.

Don't get me wrong. I also like the guy but do not like his spat with a legend like Kumble.

Awesome win. Very comprehensive. Pakistan are lowest ranked team in this tourney and that showed.

I watched almost the whole game despite my wife criticizing me .. acc to her India shouldn't have played the match.

Pakistan didn't have a plan.. generally rain hit matches give the team batting second a bigger advantage.. as it can become a T20 match in 2nd innings. But idiots started playing rash shots, didn't take many singles, the only one who tried to infuse a sense of urgency into run making, Sania's husband Shoaib Malik was brilliantly run out by Jadeja.

pakis won because of the DL. Else, I think they would have been bowled out if they had to score all the required runs or survive 50 overs.

But SA screwed up big time. Was it fixed?

Here are some players that I always keep an eye on - DuPlessis, Parnell, from SA; Sahkib Al H from BD; Umar, Wahab, Amir, etc (whole team actually); Maxwell, Bailey, Warner from Aus; Dwayne Smith, Powell, Brown, etc. from WI; Matthews, Kula, etc.. from SL. Some of these are not playing in the current competition but I have noted that their performance mysteriously drops against their form.

Yesterday I was shocked when DuPlessis almost ran out David Miller. He did not respond to a call for a single and Miller was half way down the pitch but returned to safety.

Anyway, tamasha hai dekhte raho timepass ke liye

Re: For cricket fans

After India defeated Pak, I was watching some Paki response on youtube. Bahut sukoon milta hai

In one of them, the panel was very critical of Pakis and all praise for desis. But they were saying that with hope against hope (almost a wild dream as per the host of the show) they wish to see Pakis somehow beat SA and SL and make it to semis and from there to finals with India and then beat India. I was thinking these guys see really wild dreams with the team they have. But I am a little skeptical now. Maybe their Ramadan prayers will be answered. Saalon ki good luck sacchi mein accha hai ki unko aise mauke milte hain like 1992 WC.

I hate the SA chokers more for giving them even a sniff of semis.

Good score against SL.. 321 .. if rain stays away and we bowl well, it should be India winning.
