Madarassis also suffer from this syndrome. They have better grammar but have a yucky accent.
I find the sweetest English accent in the whole world to be of a madrasi. Mind you, I am saying this though not being a madrasi... and I have heard a lot of accents from around the world. For some reason, the world is fascinated with soft Ds and Ts... everyone seems to be enamored by an Italian accent or an Armenian or Iranian accent... and they generaly make fun of the madrasi accent. But listen carefully... and you will find the musical roll of the Rs... and the softness of the Ss... and the accurate usage of hard Ds and soft Ts only in a madrasi accent. But ye duniya ulta... sab ulta iddhar.

I find obsession with accent and grammar quite useless, as long as we are able to educate or inform the crowd, it is okay to speak in whatever accent and grammar, it is not our first language so we are all right if we speak it a bit wrong.

Point I was raising was preference of english over native language.

A good accent can make a speaker more bearable. A bad accent can be annoying and audience may not have patience.

I was going to say that I agree with Jeetfati pai.... that accents really do not matter as long as the idea comes across. But then I realized you are righter. I have been personally annoyed at accents. Especially with British accents. What lousy accents they have. I never understand half of what they say. Most of the times I just tune out

You must be kidding.. British accent is the best.. I meant best to make fun of.. it sounds so constipated.

Only the other day I was amusing this colleague who got back from a week long trip of London and Dublin, etc.. I was saying marvelous, preposterous, ridiculous in proper British accent to her commentary of her travels.

Agree to Napolean pai's point

swami has a long paragraph for the title, I have not read it yet, something about fast food being not healthy.

btw, there is nothing to prove.. anybody thinking otherwise was only fooling themselves. Fast food is okay once in a while, even so I find easy to trust vegetarian fast food than non-veg.
I often play jokes on those organic cult members.. when they have to eat outside where is organic restaurant, chicken biriyani?

Well I do... and they keep ranting on and on and on. Then, if there is a question somewhere there... and if the question is pointed at me... then they will repeat the question. Why because I have been asked a question and I am quiet. When they repeat the question, I ask them to repeat the question one more time... this time slowly so that I can comprehend. And then if I understand then I answer. Else, it is the e-mail way
