And they will get their demands... or kill

Quote:

CRAZY: Muslims on Food Stamps DEMAND Food Meet Islamic Requirements

An Islamic women’s ‘advocacy group’ is DEMANDING a county in Minnesota change its food stamp policies to require a low-price, halal food shelf. The Isuroon Project says there is a ‘desperate need’ for a culturally specific halal food shelf in the metro area which would cost taxpayers more than $150,000! So far government leaders haven’t budged on this issue:

Quote:
“Isuroon has reached out for Hennepin County’s support for the Ethnic Food Shelf, and has cooperated fully with the Hennepin County commissioner’s office and provided the county with their required qualifications,” the group said in a statement. “The commissioner’s office has ignored Isuroon’s requests for review and the community needs to respond to let the public know what has transpired.”
In the private market, the food of your choice is always available as grocery stores and markets will always meet consumer demand. But this project is about fending off hunger – a supposedly temporary program to keep people from starving to death. To create a bill for the county to fullfill the needs of their religious beliefs isn’t about religious freedom… It is about violating the rights of taxpayers.

Coming to America poor, they receive unlimited health services, free transportation, free housing, and children receive free education. In addition to halal food, gratitude is also in short supply.

This is height of optimism

India on Thursday rose six places to occupy the 141st position in the latest world football rankings issued by the game’s governing body FIFA. India, who were placed 147th previously, are lying at the 22nd spot among the Asian countries.

Mother sues France over jihadi son's departure

The mother of a young Frenchman who converted to Islam and went to join jihadist fighters in Syria is suing the state for failing to stop him leaving the airport of his Riviera home town of Nice.

Bryan Dancona, from a Catholic family, left Nice two days after celebrating Christmas with relatives at the end of 2013, and is now in Syria, from where he occasionally telephones his mother Nadine, said her lawyer Samia Maktouf, who argued the case at a civil court in Paris on Tuesday.

Nadine Dancona is seeking 110,000 euros ($124,000) on the grounds border police at Nice airport should have stopped a minor - Bryan was 16 at the time - for questioning when he turned up with no personal belongings other than his identity papers for a flight to Turkey, a staging post for people traveling into war-torn Syria.

If she wins her case, the money will be donated to a group involved in combating terrorism, lawyer Maktouf said.

Sharif promises 'prompt action' on Pathankot attack
thestatesman.com/Agencies | New Delhi | 05 January, 2016

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday called up Prime Minister Narendra Modi and promised “prompt and decisive action” against the terrorists who attacked the Pathankot air base.
Sharif called up Modi in the afternoon from Sri Lanka where he is on a visit.
Modi “strongly emphasised the need for Pakistan to take firm and immediate action against the organisations and individuals responsible for and linked to the Pathankot terrorist attack. Specific and actionable information in this regard has been provided to Pakistan,” said an official statement.
“Sharif assured Modi that his government would take prompt and decisive action against the terrorists”, it said.

I know the reason Sharief agreed to this. He doesn't know the meaning of either of the words.. neither prompt nor action.

Re: News that would be funny if not so sad

Bhai log .. we Punjabis have been blamed by some as the only ones that wan't to keep Pakistan issue alive. That rest of India doesn't care so much about Pakistan but its only us.. I was very surprised by many of such comments on social media.

I'm of the view that .. kutte ki dum tedi ki tedi.. what is achieved by talking peace with them? still they come kill our people, and all we do is protest.

As we know, politicians say something and do something altogether different. Modi said .. goliyon ke shor me baat ho sakti hai kya? yeh chitthi likhna band karo, jis bhasha me Pakistan ko samajh aata hai us me samjha do. So now what happened? Is India operating from a position of power and putting utmost pressure on Pak? That if they don't show anything we will forever defame them?

An explosion in Tamil Nadu that left one man dead and three others injured does not appear to be a result of a meteorite crash, said the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). In a public statement, scientists have said that photos of the explosion that left a crater in a college campus in Vellore appeared to be from “a land based explosion” rather than something from space.

Driving back home from work yesterday I heard the local AM radio station joking about it .. They were saying, Indian authorities thought we can't find anything around, just a blue colored rock, so must be a meteorite. The other comment was sbout the compensation given to the family of the deceased. 1 lakh rupees which converts to something like $1600 he said.. Why pay for somebody who died because of meteorite? And the amount is like peanuts.

Rather than give $1600, they should have let the family keep the blue colored rock. They could have auctioned it on ebay for a lot more!

Man Shouts “F*ck That Alligator”, Jumps Into Lake And Is Killed By Alligator

Tragedy struck in Texas when one man lost his life after being killed by an alligator after jumping into a lake.

The man in question, 28 year old Tommie Woodward, mocked warning signs cautioning against getting in the water because of the alligator before jumping in and meeting a grizzly end.

I guess it's sad for everyone involved

India bus passenger arrested over smelly socks

Police in India say they have arrested a man whose smelly socks caused a dispute between him and fellow passengers on a bus.

They told the BBC they had lodged a complaint against Prakash Kumar, 27, for "causing a public nuisance".

The incident occurred en route to the capital, Delhi, after Mr Kumar removed his shoes and socks. The stench from the socks was so bad that passengers asked Mr Kumar to put them in his bag or throw them out.

But he allegedly refused, sparking a heated argument.

Passengers then forced the bus driver to pull over at a police station in the northern Indian state of Himachal Pradesh where the complaint was lodged.

The Hindustan Times quoted Mr Kumar as saying that his socks had not been stinking, and that the passengers had quarrelled with him for "no reason".

Police told the BBC that Mr Kumar had been granted bail.
