I heard someone say the problem starts where they say Quran is the last commandment.. as soon as you say this is the last one, your ears and eyes are closed.. and you will not accept any other.

My Paki colleague couldn't fathom how Hinduism had little to no rules.. He was flabbergasted when I told him that I don't have to pray everyday. He was sure he's going to hell coz he doesn't pray 5 times a day. Just an example of how rigid the thinking is, and no education can set you free.

When 4 year old Palestinian toddlers are taught to hurl abuses at the mention of the word Jew, you can only imagine the radicalization that exists in almost every Muslim. It's just that they will not act on it themselves, but give tacit or direct support to those who will. As they say, a Muslim is only as moderate as the distance he places himself from the bomb. In fuckin Arizona they collected in thousands (most Indians and Paki muslims) to protest against Israel's strikes on Gaza in 2014.

Re: Irony of fate---Sikh separatist coming to tour India as Canada's defence minister

Ashuoka tai, I did not use ad homima... od homami... ad honama.. whatever the big word you used. I do not even know what it means... so how will I used it

What I am suggesting is a solution right at the root of the cause. It will help in easing tensions in today's world... providing humanitarian help to millions of people... and ensuring that the future of our fore-children is also secure. It will do all of these. And yes, it depends a lot on education and spread of knowledge. The problem is these solutions are not implemented because of political correctness and gods-know-what other reasons.

You have to understand that providing immigration facilities to the millions of uprooted people is not as plain and simple as it sounds humanitarian. When millions immigrate they also bring in culture. And that word, "culture", is not as pure as you would believe it to be. If you do not believe my words then take a petridish, place a sponge in it, soak it wet. Now ensure that it is wet the next few days/months. Over a period of time you will notice a variety of growth on it. That is culture. That is what you helped immigrate, by providing appropriate humanitarian facilities... but to what?

And you will say I am comparing apples and baboons... but I am not. We are not talking about humans here... but completely brainwashed societies. Even google does not help them... let alone common sense.

What is needed is education. I believe we have already accumulated enough knowledge on this subject. All that is left is propagation. But our g'ments and leaders do not want that. We need to vote in the right people... and we made a good start on that. We have Trump here... and Modi there... and Dutarte somewhere else. Nobody is saying stop immigration. All we ask is, question the immigrants... asking the right questions. They need to change their religion (and if you ask why, check the second line of the para). And this is a solution not just proposed by me. Even Daniel Pipes has similar propositions.

And to figure out how this will work... it is just simple mathematics. Your one big turning-around argument will be... a change of religion does not work at all. The person changing his religion will revert back immediately or will not follow the new religion sincerely. So it never works. Though this statement sounds profoundly logical, it is not. And this scientific methodology has been used by religious leaders since time immemorial to con numerous human beings. Religious leaders have always been cunning. They give two hoots to the person changing his/her religion. Who tf cares if someone changes their religion or will revert back to his old one. What is important is the children... more precisely, the fore-children. And the culture they will be inculcating.

Immigrate now... or convert now. Either action defines the future.

Too much typing... tak gaya. Kuch samjha

I completely agree. so if we were to choose a lesser evil what should we choose? I think we have a disagreement on what that lesser evil is here. To me, a lesser evil would be let people in and then try to make do with what we have. To you, not to let anyone in and potentially let them die.
I think we both agree the real solution is something somewhere else. we are debating (I thought) about the band-aid of whether to allow 99 in if 1 of the 100 is/can be a bad one.

errrr.... thats not the question... other religions/communities/rules were like that - agreed. They have changed....

you said however, Islam was not always like that - I dont know of any time when Islam was not like that. British did it or Ghenghis Khan did it at one point does not mean Islam was peaceful at the time.
Mughul period wasn't exactly a long time ago isnt it? rapes, humiliation of women is still happening all across the globe. Its not just in Islam.

yes! so far we are in sync. I probably may have missed your point. So you are saying asking people to change their religion will work or the contrary?

Education is the key, I completely agree. And i also agree that the right questions needs to be asked before letting people in.

And I see your point. Whoever comes, they dont just uproot themselves. They bring their culture it. And I understand it puts immense pressure on the existing infrastructure. why, just the other day i had to book a small appointment for my kid and the wait time to see a specialist is 6 weeks. 6 FULL weeks. trust me, I do see a point. But I am just not comfortable with "dont let anyone in" policy.

I think we maybe on the same page.

It is/has always been in Islam though.

yeah, unfortunately happens by others too - even a charity like OXFAM embroiled in sexual exploitation of those they are meant to help. however the point is that now that OXFAM scandal is out, the chances, based on previous experiences, are that they will stop.
