Re: Netflix movies worth watching

Lust Stories
Title is intriguing.

So checked it despite the director list including Zoya Akhtar and Karan Johar.
It is just 2 stories of extra marital affairs, plus one of an engaged guy screwing his maid and last of a bahu using a vibrator.
No skin show. a couple of sex scenes showing mostly the guy.
the name is misleading.
somewhat like this one My Bold Erotic Shairy

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

Netflix has Avengers: Infinity War. Watched it again last night. Fantastic movie. And rumour is that Netflix is advertising this new-add to only 50% of the subscribers

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

For Tarantino Fans on eCharcha, "The Hateful Eight" starring Kurt Russell, Samuel L Jackson, Channing Tatum (in a short role).. Highly recommend you watch it if haven't already.

Its the story of a bounty hunter (Kurt Russell) traveling to a town called Red Rock in Wyoming with a fugitive prisoner and meets Samuel Jackson (another Bounty hunter) and a confederacy loving southerner who claims to be the new sheriff of Red Rock on the way. They take up shelter in a haberdashery as the weather worsens due to a snow blizzard and end up meeting 4 strangers who have also taken refuge in the haberdashery. And the story unfolds in a typical dark, ultra-violent, racially tinted and gruesome Tarantino style ...

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

Recently, I got hooked to some Isreali and Turkish serials on Netflix. One that I highly recommend is Fauda. it is with English subtitle. There are two seasons and worth the time over the weekend for binge watchers.

Yups- Caught it a whole back. Looks like HHM also recommended that earlier in this thread when he was Kalidas. If you like other Tarantino movies, you will like this too.

Am watching a Television Series called "Ozark" starring Jason Bateman, Laura Linney and Julia Garner about a Financial Advisor who ends up moving his family from Chicago to small town Ozark, MO to launder $500 million for a drug Mafia boss ..

This series was suggested by a colleague at work and am enjoying every bit of it. Pretty riveting stuff

PS: Dunno if this has been already reviewed on EC..

"The Sinner" starring Jessica Biel and Bill Pullman!

Jessica Biel plays a house wife going through the motions until she visits the beach with her husband and infant son and ends up murdering a stranger with her fruit peeling knife!

what transpires next is mind bending detective work and unraveling of a heck of a lot of secrets.

Must watch if you haven't already!

Finished it last week.
Good 26 episodes. Interesting story, realistic filming and a slick editing.
No wonder it didnt too well in the TRP Ratings
How can it compete against all Saas Bahu serials or those which keep stretching the stories.
It was rated 2.5 in Netflix and i rated it 5.
Now not sure, how many here will like it

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

^^ I was into half of this show... but it seemed to drag on and on and on and on... and eventually I lost interest.

There is another series I am watching called "Anjaan, Special Crime Unit" or something. Good theme about ghost/crime stories. But the stories keep meandering on... and do not focus on the main villain character, of a cat-eyed ghost-like creature. He comes a little bit in every 8 or 9th episode.

Watch some Gult serials. Even my better half got fed up of one which never seemed to end. I managed to laugh in one episode where an evil bahu uses signal jammers and timebombs to get rid of her rival.

"Baazaar", a Netflix Original movie starring Saif Ali Khan, Chitrangadha Singh Radhika Apte and Rohan Mehra.

Bada aadmi Banna hai

Story of a young and ambitious stock trader from a small town who follows his dream to Mumbai and ends up working for a ruthless and Notorious Stock tycoon.
