someone must have to ferry them from school to tuitions and back home on weekdays unless its all in the school?

Ya, i just dont know how to get around this K4. I tried. I still try. When we get home at 5:15 PM, I feed them dinner, play with, sit with them while they study and 3 nights a week, take them for their swimming/taekwondo/dance. Bath, snack, brush, books...its invariably 8 or 8:30 PM by the time they go to bed. Then I start cooking/cleaning for the next day....
in all this, I somehow fit in dog walking, my own dinner. 8 hours of sleep is a luxury. I dont think a lot of us get it.
I try and catch up on some netflix show around 10 because I simply cannot switch off my mind and go to sleep. He works opposite shifts, so that doesnt help much either. I just have to try harder. so far 6 hours or so is working fine.

If you can get someone else to taken them for their classes, that will give you time to cook/clean, probably shave off an hour of your day. hire a dog walker maybe? or get someone else to cook or move these classes to weekend.

Same thing I said to Ashika, 6 and a half hour sleep is less than what is required...

Ok. Even I have been sleeping for 6 hrs for last few months. Don't feel tired though and it feels like I have slept enough. How many hours are enough - 8 hours?

correct, adults need at least 7-8 hours of quality sleep. Kids need 9-10 hours minimum.

I make sure I sleep 7 hours at least.. when I sleep less than 6.5 hrs I don't feel a 100% the next morning.

I sleep 6 & half hour at night, still less that requirement of min. 8 hours
so sometime I recover at least 1 hour in office, sleeping on the nice & comfortable recliner chair... office ends 1600 but at any day I feel tired, I would stay in office, calling home, making excuse of overtime.... it's cheating but helpless because at home you can never sleep when they're awaking

Re: Your morning routine

For the screen time we expose our eyes to these days, pretty much everyone has abt 6 hours at work and 2-3 hours on phone, 1-2 on tv.. thats like only 3-4 hours away from a screen all day. Shouldn’t our eyes get more rest?.. when i worked in prod support, i was called to work on incidents late in the nights, and my sleep suffered, my eyes were the most affected due to insufficient sleep.

Re: Your morning routine

I sleep for 8 - 9 hours... and 10 - 12 hours on weekends. Why because I really like to sleep... more than anything else in the world. So why shouldn't I sleep for longer times. Anyway, ek din to sote hi rehna hai... why not practice from now itself
