Re: Netflix movies worth watching

I watched xxx (not the pornn, the one starring vin diesel)long back, right in docji's gaon*. Saw it on Netflix too, sometime back.

So wanted to check on the sequel too, more so when I found out I wiki that it was panned by critics.

Loved it. It is like a typical ajay Devgun dishum dishum.

Apparently there is a 2017 version now. Will check on that sometime

How good is Narcos?
it's good - has some language - so may not be suitable to watch around kids - but it's pretty interesting if you like latino/drug cartel type stuff (read pablo escobar)

To me Narcos seemed slow and not engaging.. wife was already against it, so we didn't watch after a couple episodes. Most of the American drama is off my list for requiring too much understanding either with the lingo or the content.. I just need good entertainment without too much funda and BS.

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

A little off-topic as this is not on Netflix, but I'd like to recommend Designated Survivor on ABC. Kind of like 24, but not really.

Watch online: http://abc.go.com/shows/designated-s...episode-guide/

Synopsis:
Kiefer Sutherland stars as Tom Kirkman, a lower-level cabinet member who is suddenly appointed President of the United States after a catastrophic attack on the US Capitol during the State of the Union. Kirkman will struggle to keep the country and his family from falling apart, while navigating the highly-volatile political arena and leading the search to find who is responsible for the attack.

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

If you havent watched Sunny Paaji's "I Love NY", you have watched nothing. There is a twist in the name itself - NY is "New Year" and "New York".

I am proud of myself having watched it and recommending it to my dearest freinds of this forum I am sure to be flooded with reps

I was serious. It has Dharmendra actually emoting... maybe for the first time. The jokes are over the top... the family bonding seems real. It is a good timepass movie. The second one they went over-board. Maybe kids will like the second one.

Planning to rate it a 5. Tell me on Sunday, what its rating looks like. And no surprise that it is available in Canada. Part of the story is set in Canada.
