Initially they thought it was a false alarm but the monitor showed that the baby has a very low heart beat and it is dropping. So, They carried out an emergency C-Section in 7th month itself.
incorrect positioing means that the head of the baby was mis-aligned with the cervix...well there are lotsa other alignment issues..thing is by 32 weeks your baby gets 'engaged'..i.e head gets latched to cervix...if there is any positioning error than a c-section is carried out to safely deliver baby...

the baby got delivered before full-term and these baby's most probably suffer from some ailments related to lungs etc in their lifetime...so it cannot be called a fortunate event...a NST test was perfomed to check heart-rate of baby and dropping heart-rate was enough to carry out an emergency c-section...

Thank you for this. I am looking at other websites also, but do doctors really wouldn't give pain killers for stitches or C-Section? I don't remember what my sis did because she wasnt allowed to breast feed. So maybe she took pain killers...how about for everyone else?

get more information from here...

http://www.storknet.com/cubbies/brea...ercesarean.htm
http://en.allexperts.com/q/Breastfee...n-sections.htm

usually it takes time to come out from anesthesia's effect after a c-section and due to surgical scrar..it becomes difficult to move or hold baby in comfortable position...

in any case, drugs used during and after c-sections or normal delivery are usually considered safe for infants even if it passes through mothers milk i.e their concentration or broken up compounds dont possess health risk as such...

pre-term baby...you just cannot expect to breast-feed after delivery...for how many days did they keep baby in incubator and under-observation?

as you said that the baby was born in 7th month....well breast-feeding can start for pre-termbabies who are 32 weeks old...but initially they are kept under observation in neo-natal intensive care units...

baby was in the incubator for about 3 weeks (don't remember exactly how many days). After that also he was monitored very closely.

Re: So, what's up?

Went to a Sushi place for lunch today. It was nice to have the wifey join in too (during lunch time), since she's a big sushi person. Ate a good 10 or 11 rolls, feel like taking a nap now

oooh congrats to you and your parents

Yeah good deal....I hope they are working. Last time I bought a DVD containing some 6 'fighter-aicrafts related games'...noone of them had a valid installation...

btw some 'save-animals organisation' were having a charity stuff and were selling old stuff to people in a multiplex here 5-6 days back. I bought MIcrosoft flight simulator (entire 'genuine' installation) and 2 other simulator games for 100 bucks.

What's that? Walmart offers free blood pressure checking? tell me more!! Sounds like a great idea in a retail store. May try it myself.

What other freebies are there? Weighing scale, maybe? what else? Seriously.
