Quite the same here, I have watched a few new movies but half the time I was browsing twitter, or ec or something else.

Same for music too, gave up on Bollywood. Hardly like anything since 70s. Ghazals are my only other preference in music.

No kidding. I paid 3.99 to watch the old Blade Runner from 1982, such as rip off.

Here is the update - Sometime in Feb, i saw an offer where YuppTv was for $100 for the whole year with free Yuppflix for the year thrown in.
I add that to the cart, but am not sure whether better half wants to see it on the same device or switch it (they charge $10 for adding a device- Understandable, else desi Junta will use one subscription for 100 devices)
Promptly, someone from YuppTV calls up and offers one extra month and he says $10 is for adding a device. Switching devices will be free (past experience says its not so simple).

So, started using Yuppflix from that. Started on 2 states. Not really my type (rom com), but the story by Chetan Bhagat seems to be interesting.

It is however, a treasurehouse for cult classic lover like me. Yalgaar, Qurbaani, etc. are all there.
Catching up on following classics.

1. Major Chandrakanth (93 Gult movie)- An NTR starrer where he plays a retired PVC, donning Anna Hazare type of role against corrupt Amrish Puri. Over the top performance and loud dialogues had me laughing. Not sure how it did in Box ofice, but surely NTR came back to power next year.

2. Hadh kar di aap ne- Movie with too many ridicuous situations like Govinda hiding in a TV. Loved it.
