Thumbs up PM invites Mehbooba to attend all-party meet

I am sure Hon'ble Manmohan Singh will calm the situation in Jammu and Kashmir, especially in Srinagar.

PM invites Mehbooba to attend all-party meet

New Delhi, July 11 (PTI)

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has spoken to PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti and is understood to have impressed upon the need for the government and the opposition to be on the same side in Kashmir to tackle the current situation.

Singh, who spoke to Mehbooba yesterday, also appealed to her to attend the all-party meeting convened by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah tomorrow, official sources said.

Omar had yesterday renewed his appeal to PDP to attend the meet to discuss the present situation in the valley but the main opposition party has so far stuck to its decision to stay away.

Mehbooba had insisted last night that there was no point in attending the meeting as it will serve no purpose.

According to PDP sources, the Chief Minister wrote to Mehbooba that he was pained to hear about the decision of her party and that he would be "grateful" if she could join the deliberations. Omar also spoke on telephone to Mehbooba.

The invitation has been extended to all 12 recognised political parties and groups for the meeting. These were National Conference, Congress, PDP, BJP, Panthers Party, CPI-M, CPI, Peoples Democratic Forum, Democratic Party (Nationalist), Bahujan Samaj Party, Rashtriya Janata Dal and Nationalist Congress Party.r to attend all-party meet

you people don't have any objections to US maligning Indian armed forces? the current crises is all the handiwork of US. the recent "civilian deaths" at the hands of security forces were all fictitious. US wants to give a message that the kashmir insurgency was brought under control by local police of kashmiri ethnicity while other indian security personnels are cowardly bystanders. the corrupt indian media is also helping racist americans in this task.

Yeah, right shruthi. There's a solar eclipse today. Will begin at 2230hrs IST. Isn't the US responsible for that?

BTW, I notice that you have a lot of green boxes. Doesn't that make you sick? I thought you wanted to receive only red boxes, even if a member liked your post?

Will Mehbooba Mufti ever get this kind of Bhav in any other country. PM calling her directly and she refusing.

BTW Kashmiris will always need a period dosage of Army once in 3-4 months, that is like some physical or sexual need .

That is one thing India has to be careful off no matter who ever rules,or no matter whether it is secular or not. We do not have to allow such pockets of Muslim dominant areas to develop else there would always be problem. If you see geographically kashmir problem is limited to only 2-3 districts.
