Funny take of echarchans on movies

We have had many original movie reviews done by echans over years.

But there have been a few of them which make you smile or laugh under breath when you think about them. I remember two such reviews - in fact just one line from each of them. Both were done by echarcha.

1.)Veer Zaara - 'Veer nahi hum jara aur maro hamari'

2.) Tom,Dick and Harry - 'Tom's dick is harry' .

If you remember any such reviews , please post that one line that made you smile/laugh.

For Jagmohan : - no other site links and no google search suggestions. Thanks!

Re: Funny take of echarchans on movies

I posted a few movie reviews on mouthshut and imdb before joining EC.

Pasting a section from one such review.

The main character is meant to irritate every one and he does so quite well including the audience with his horrible acting and even more horrible voice. If some one thinks that as is shown in the movie after what all is done to the main female character she will actually start loving her tormentor, he needs to visit a Psycho. Actually some debriefing is needed right after the movie to get over the mental trauma caused by it. it tried my best to sleep thru, but the highly irritating voice of the main character kept me awake.

Trying to guess this movie, I could only recollect Chennai Express that would most aptly fit this review

Re: Funny take of echarchans on movies

Though CE also would fit this, i was watching it at home and kept moving away from the torture scene quite frequently.

It was actually way before CE.

This is 7G Brindavan Colony, which is a Gult version of Tamil Movie, 7G Rainbow colony. i was seeing it in a Bus and unable to avoid it. The irritating voice of the 'Hero', prevented me from sleeping.

So, was that their revenge for your complaining about gults, or you started complaining about gults after that. Now, dont tell me your roomies actually liked this movie

Anyways, i actually walked past the heroine Soni Agrawal in Landmark @spencers in Chennai about 2004. i did not realize that she was the heroine until she showed up at the music release which happened about 10 minutes after our rendezvous. this release did help me position myself properly for the next music release at the same place where i could see Reema Sen (dont remember what the movie was or who the hero was in that case)

To me it sounded like, someone is introducing the Big boss - 8 , of his fart-arse loudy host, Sallu.

I still did not understand, what this thread is all about !

Yes. i actually thought her ghost was haunting him and her corporate advice saw him progress from a Mechanic to a Big shot.

Re: Funny take of echarchans on movies

There was this Don remake *ing Hakla called "Don - The chase begins again"

i would say in those days that soon the way Hakla was acting in all the remakes like Devdas and Don, he would soon star in a movie called "Sharaabi - The Liquor Flows again"

One sentence takes (or mottos) -

Dhoom 3 - Defaulters of the world, unite and rob

FALTU - for the Losers, of the losers by the keepers (who laughed their way from box office to their swiss banks)

Talaash - Chudail ka Badla.
