Thumbs up Krrish 3

Not much is generally to be expected from a Bollywood sci-fi movie. Add mutated characters or aliens to it and the expectation better be set lower.

Krissh 3 has both. But surprisingly does not disappoint.

The action sequences are grand and are high standard. May be a little short of Hollywood standard but they are excellent and far above from the usual Bollywood level. In fact, they do not seem lacking or below-par anywhere.

Story is good too. No disconnected loose ends. It all fits in the end properly.

I did not expect Bollywood to come up with a good action sci-fi thriller, least of all from Rakesh Roshan who has made movies like Karan Arjun & Koyla. Did not much like his Koi Mil Gaya either. But he has done a good work on Krrish 3.

I wont be surprised if Krrish 3 is the highest grosser of Bollywood.

Worth a watch on big screen.

Yes, there is the father-son connection from KMG to Krrish to Krrish3. Lekin aisa kuch nahi ki 1 ke bina dusri samajh nahi aayegi.

Krrish3 ends with Krrish's baby boy's birth but without any explicit hint of next installment.

Re: Krrish 3

People who have seen it say it is a waste of time and money. But it has already crossed 100 cr mark in just 3 days!
By the time word of mouth spreads, picture earns enough to be called a super hit.

I do not agree. By Indian standards this is one of the best made movies. Good photography and lot attention to details. If you do not like super hero movies then yes it is waste of time and money but if you do like them then I do suggest it deserves one chance.

Re: Krrish 3

I watched Krrisshhh3 ( How many r , or s or h ? ) on weekend. No one in our group except me liked it. Yes, it is out and out Super Hero movie. If you liked X-Men, Iron Man, Super Man and Spider-man ..... go watch Krrisshh. If you hate those movie then send your kids and stay home with wife and enjoy uninterrupted three hour sex. Also, try different positions.....

Back to movie... Movie is well directed and there are good Hollywood style action sequences. There are all sort of mutants and sexy girls turning into hairy guys.....

Fights are Super Hero caliber with people throwing trees, buildings and cars at each other.

Only thing I did not like was ....bollywodization of Super Hero when he starts singing Raghupati Ragahv .......

Hritik Roshan is okay. He is creeplily fit with extreme abs and pants that dive right into his pubes...... Can appeal to both girls and gays...

Priyanka Chopra is pretty and sexy beyond compare........She is kind of girl you never want to have sex with ......You wont last more than 30 seconds ......

Vivek Oberoi is evil

With two Hritiks and Priyanka and bunch of mutants there is nothing else for any one else to do. Kangana Raut may have acted well but I kept staring at her boobs..... So I dont know.....

My verdict....Watch it if you are a guy....Take your wife and tell her to keep her eyes on Hritik.....Take the night show.....At night you will have amazing sex...Of course your wife will keep her eyes closed as she imagines Hritik but ........You will get sucked dry.......

Re: Krrish 3

Here is a review I have written taking more time to explain..........

With this film Rakesh Roshan seems to have the ambition to make an Indian superhero film that can match Hollywood .

But can he match Hollywood ??

The answer is---not really....

The only thing Rakesh Roshan can do is---he can copy it....
....For the film's scenes seem to be copied from various Hollywood superhero films and do not have anything original in them .

Hrithik plays Krishh---the superhero who doubles as a blue collar worker who gets fired from various jobs because he's too committed to his other self as superhero and arrives late for work . So then how can he maintain his lifestyle and what are his sources of income ?? SSHH....Don't ask uncomfortable questions....

He has a sexy miniskirted wife ( Priyanka Chopra ) who works for Aaj tak TV news channel and knows his secret identity . His father is played by himself and father works for a govt laboratory . The father also is experimenting with using concentrated solar energy to bring back dead creatures to life but his experiment is not successful because too much concentration of solar energy tends to destroy the dead creatures .

Trouble breaks out in this paradise with the entry of Vivek Oberoi who plays the character of Kal---a handicapped villain who can use his enormous mental strength to move and shatter objects and who has created mutant living beings from animals and humans combined ( called maanwars ) to carry out his nefarious objectives....
And his nefarious objectives include creating viruses which kill people in millions and then selling their antidotes to earn huge amounts of money....

So can Krishh and his father stop this villain ??
The most important question is---can the audience get some entertainment while they do the stopping ??

To be honest , some kids might love this film---but only urban kids....
I wonder how people from illiterate backgrounds and rural parts are going to understand the highfundoo terminology and sci fi shown in the film....
Part of the film and the special effects seem like a computer game which is not meant for the common masses....

Acting by Hrithik is good , but Priyanka does not have much to do except look pretty....

Kangana Ranaut plays the vamp who falls in love with Krishh , but she falls for him too quickly and unconvincingly---how come a person who was coldbloodedly killing people just few minutes ago suddenly develop such a loving heart ??

The fighting in the end is more like carnage and it dragged on too much for my liking....

The music by Rajesh Roshan is his worst performance as music director till date---nothing more should be said about the music...

The special effects have been done by an Indian company without foreign help and by that standard they can be called good . But the ideas are all copied from Hollywood . Couldn't they think of some original stunts ??

Verdict---Just about okay . Personally I wasn't particularly impressed....

People who watch the film can be divided into two parts---1 ) Those who watch Hollywood films 2 ) Those who don't watch Hollywood films .
Those who watch Hollywood films will know that they are watching copied scenes from Hollywood and will get bored .
Those who don't watch Hollywood films will be seeing these special effects and stunts for the first time and may like it .

Madam made you see? or you a big Roshan family fan?

I don't watch Roshan family movies as they are made so as to give work to the family members who are not employed by anybody else.

I dont usually, but agree with Peace pai on this one. it is showing on netflix Kids loved this, so joined them in between and it is interesting to see a bollywood superhero film with mutants and supervillain. is cool except for some bollywood style senti dialogs towards the end.
