Re: so, what do you think of an office crush?

For me, it has been both ways. Many girls used to have crush on me because I was naturally attractive. But neither poor girls nor me had courage to cross the line and crush always remained crush. After a while, we moved to different locations or department and it never progressed further.

Re: so, what do you think of an office crush?

Office mein toh phate mein rehti hai. Kahan crush-wush!

Haan ek zamane mein hua tha ek baar college ke dinon mein, woh toh ab yaad bhi nahin tha. There was this girl in our tutions who we found to be super-hot. Had an almost Amazonian build (comparatively), had great sense of fashion and was very friendly.

How does one know if someone has a crush on them?

I think women are always aware how far their reach and scope is.

you are not "doing it" if you know what I mean. This thing is involuntary. You dont go to working looking for a crush.

Ah, thats a shame. I wish you knew what it feels like. Hopefully one day you will.
The beauty of it is that you dont act on it at all. Totally one sided. They wouldnt even have a clue that you have a thing for them.

So, while my imagination goes vivid, it all stays in the mind. I even remain silent when other guys are describing physical proportions of ladies. In one case, where only me and another lady were in a presentation, i made sure i was sitting a few feet away from her.
I dont think its appropriate to even discuss about a crush with another co-worker...This is what I am trying to say. We dont really act on it.
Secretly though, the imagination runs wild .

This is exactly how it should be! I am so happy for you.
We dont cross the lines...then it becomes an affair and no one wants that; especially not at work.

Pretty easy actually. A smile that lingers longer. An unnecessary email here and there...and so on.

This is what I wanted to know. I would know if I had a crush. But Nepolean bhai says he knows gurls had a crush on him. Made me wonder how I must have missed if any girl had a thing for me. I already feel good☺

Chances are low in IT.. ladies that can do technical jobs are hard to come by.. often I see desi women, and hardly any have makeup.

you mentioned makeup...does it have any relevance? I am asking out of genuine curiosity.
Does a bit of foundation and lipstick make a difference? (for the record I do wear some makeup )

To me, and it's just me I can't say for others.. men and women coming to work have to look tidy, well groomed, and professional. Men with unkempt beard or not shaving for days earn my dislike as much as women with absolutely no makeup. Many desi women come to work as if they just washed their face with water once, no foundation, lipstick, eyeliner, nothing.. no effort to look appealing at all.. not even eyebrows are done, some even have mustaches visible.

P.S. have a deja vu here.. wrote a similar post sometime back I think.
