Yes you are right. Mumbaikars deserve the government they re-elected. I was apalled that the Congress was re-elected in Mumbai despite 26/11. I thought that atleast this attack would ensure that people voted out Congress in Mumbai.

This just goes to show that Mumbaikars are now immune to any form of terrorism and the adage is - Roj koi na koi marta hain, marne do, leking mujhe chalne do!

we had jammers fitted in our college..but the jammers the simple ones can jam a single band..say they can jam only cell phone frequency..but the wireless and sat phones ,they operate in a different band,so they cannot be jammed.

Re: 26/11 anniversay - Where has all the anger gone?

Why are we talking of jamming and phones should have been jammed etc.

Its been a year, we have a terrorist in custody, we have all the evidence, we even exchanged dossiers of evidence with Pakistan, we even got help from the FBI with recent arrests of Headley and now a father son duo in Italy.

What else do we need? A nuclear incident like a dirty bomb in Mumbai?

Even that wont be enough for our eunuch leaders to muster courage to stand and defend the nation.

We are talking about cutting off the conversations between brains and guns in the last attack... which we couldnít, due to a lack of I donít know what. It was indispensable cos guns without brains canít do much damage and brains without guns canít do anything.

I know this is none of my business and I care less for the matter but may I ask which party you voted for in the recent elections OR would have voted for if you were there ( if you were not there ) n why?

P.S. you can ignore if that is too personal.

Re: 26/11 anniversay - Where has all the anger gone?

MNS hoarding honours the martyrs of 26/11....except non marathi-manoos.

Quote from Rediff
Does heroism have a Marathi manoos hue for the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena, even if the martyrs lost their lives protecting Mumbai ?

A hoarding an MNS leader posted in Mahim, north-central Mumbai, to mark the first anniversary of the 26/11 terror attacks, omits National Security Guard commandos Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan and Havaldar Gajendra Singh Bisht who lost their lives battling terrorists at the Taj Mahal hotel and Nariman House respectively.

Both heroes, Bengaluru-based Unnikrishnan and Dehra Dun native Bisht, were honoured with the Ashok Chakra, the country's highest award for valour during peace-time, this Republic Day.

The MNS hoarding has photographs of all the other security personnel killed during the 26/11 attacks.

Re: 26/11 anniversay - Where has all the anger gone?

It is correct that politicians are the reflection of popular mindset, but it is the leader who makes the people think about the nation. A person taking birth in OBC family enjoy more privilege than the Dependants of martyrs (who scarifies his life and well being of his Dependants). So again herein politicians are to be blamed for this injustice.

You got to understand one thing... most Indians (almost 91.3%) think balls are something that grow on the chest (of all women and a few men). So, it will take quite a long time to grow them where they are really needed.
