Can you cite any precedence to support your insightful and prophetic knowledge about our judiciary?

Our judiciary will hand Ajmal the death penalty. Its our politicians who will just let him sit on death row forever.

It's our super secular Kangressis who would do the honours and then Priyanka Gandhi will come out as an angel and take all credit.

Look she also made a T shirt for him. Little Ajmal bhaiyya!

I think the proper way of remembering our martyr would be to rename atleast one coach of our 'Samjhauta Express' in this brave man's name.

Shame on the govt.

I have had close interaction with the judiciary for the last several years and i know the rot that has crept into the system. Nobody dares to question on account of the infamous and draconian "contempt of court" proceeding that the courts resort to when someone questions them. See the way the courts have been grovelling and not taking any action against the lawyers of Chennai for the way they have been holding the society to ransom and supporting terrorist organization like LTTE. Instead of punishing them it has punished two outstanding police officers who had the gumption to implement the law fearlessly.
During the Punjab insurgency the judiciary across all levels abdicated their responsibilities and out of fear of the terrorists had been very lenient with them in granting bails etc. (This is very well documented) Once the problem was sorted our by our police under KPS Gill all the policemen were, instead of being rewarded, slapped with human rights violations and enthusiastically prosecuted by the same bunch of supine judges.
IT is high time that we stop being like an ostrich and recognize that the judiciary (with few exceptions) is as corrupt and vain as our politicians. At least the politicos are accountable but these judges are not at all accountable to anyone! Tell me one instance in independent india when the courts have punished the high and mighty for any offense. The law in India is used as a tool to oppress the marginalized and the courts just pay lip service to keep the pretensions of fairness and fool the people into believing the judiciary is the last resort for the disadvantaged! The only reason that the higher judiciary is still functioning with any modicum of credibility is due to some outstanding individual judges and not due to the judicial system per se.
