yes. As long as the main challenger remains Pappu, he doesnt have to worry. GDP growth is already almost 8%. Pushing it higher wont be easy, but PM has the 'Can do spirit'.

Re: Achche Din
Now, World bank has also released 'ease of business' rankings for various states. Gujarat is predictably at the top and close at number 2 is Andhra Pradesh where Babu (no longer a Hyderabadi) seems to be redoing his magic.
But surprise surprise at number 10 is none other than our 'Ulta Pradesh' (UP). Link

She is right. That's how it works. Publicity is more important than actual work. Not that Modi is bad at it. This tweet is also an indirect publicity.

Re: Achche Din

It is a nightmare reading any news item in TOIlet, more so from a mobile. It took me to some ad and then to a news item on gun smuggling. Short cut me, is this where all the Gaddis get loaded to go all over India? The factories are nearby, I gather. But how do they make from factories to the hub.

Even waterways are being explored now, per Gadkari's comment in one of the news enclaves. Water and rail transport are much cheaper than Road, I guess the rail corridor from Ahmedabad to Jaipur will be great. |

There were a lot of ads with some good numbers on 2 years of Modi Sarkar many in NDTv. Also answered one question I had 'How can public giving up subsidies be a govt achievement? And now it seems subsidies are gone anyway for higher income folks..?' It seems a lot of poor people got LPG connections besides number of highways built. But a piece by Sudarsham news takes the cake. It shows the editor ride a rickshaw and hear the rickshaw puller say how things have improved in 2 years.

Re: Achche Din
There was a great satirical video on TOI by the AIB clan. I actually don't mind them. The AIB roast was also fun.
