Your funny or sad experiences in Plane

Hello,

Had this in my mind for long time.

Forgot sometimes and sometimes got busy.

Anyways list/describe your experience from your flights in this thread.

Almost everytime I flew Air-India, I had these.

So I will list them later one by one.

Re: Your funny or sad experiences in Plane

No sad experiences thankfully.

This once on a flight from Detroit to Delhi in 2005 (my student days), I had 2 drinks and slept, was woken up by my friend few hours later saying dude you are snoring too hard and drooling too, everyone is looking here.. I was like whatever and went back to sleep.

Sleeping accompanied by drooling is so awesome. You get such a nice sleep! I crave for that kind of sleep.

Re: Your funny or sad experiences in Plane

Happy experience ka tho jyada incidents nahi hai. Bas ek baar Delta airlines mein 2nd row select kiya tha online... when I boarded the plane, the 2nd row turned out to be business class. Bas, sure nahi tha kya karna udhar. Kya ye mistake hai... koi mujhe utta deyega udhar se... yehi tension mein flight shuru hua. Us ke baad ek free beer ke baad sab teek teek lagne laga. A fat texan guy sat next to me... and he was shame-shaming the hoi-poloi economy class guys in the back... not realizing that mai bhi ek udhar se hi hoon... galti se is class mein aa gaya

Sad experience mein sirf do literally rone wala scenes hai...

Pehla, there I was in the window seat... and ek buddhi baajoo mein aa kar baith gayi. Literally buddhi thi... maybe 65 - 70 years old. As the flight took off, there was this disgusting stink filling up my airspace. Did not know what to do... dug my nose into my sleeves for the rest of the flight. Pata nahi... but think the buddhi was wearing a diaper and freely letting go whatever she had eaten the earlier night.

Doosra incident... ek kaali bhainsa aa kar baith gayi bajoo mein. And she had literally emptied her scent bottle all over herself. The stink was so overpowering... I literally did not know how I would survive the flight

They did ultimately give me a veg meal and took away the non veg meal. though they got confused at my attempt to have both the meals though

In all of 2005-2007, i found that Air India was more liberal in serving Beer than Phoren airlines.
To expand on the beer, in one of the ait india flights, the flight attendant was asking me what i want and pat i replied 'beer'. Then she told, 'I wont be back for a long time, take as many cans as you want.'. I didnt want to look too greedy so took only 3 cans

IndiGo passenger complains of mosquitoes on flight, gets offloaded

Maybe should be in "Only in India" thread.

Re: Your funny or sad experiences in Plane

I think I mentioned my funny/sad plane experience in a different thread, but can't seem to find it.

Basically, once I was on a direct flight from Chicago to Delhi. I was in the middle seat trapped between a senile gujju lady and senile Bengali man. Through out the flight, both of them were farting silent farts. It stunk up the entire cabin.

But if the farts were silent, how do I know that both were farting, you ask? I will tell you. One of the farts smelt peanut-ty and the other was garlic-ky.
