A good watch on Netflix is, "The Night Comes to Us" or something like that. And also "Train to Busan", a thrilling zombie movie... that can be watched by kids too.

Yeah. Watched it on YouTube last week through Roku. The print/quality was excellent. Thanks for the suggestion. Pankaj Tripathi and Rajkumar Rao were excellent!! Interesting Horror-Comedy!

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

So, all those who saw 'Stree', can anyone explain what happens on the bus at the end Why can't directors present what they want to convey in a simple fashion... without going all inception on us

the character played by shraddha kapoor has come to the town to get the powers of the chudail that reside in her ponytail/pigtail---whatever it is called . she gets hold of the tail of chudail's hair by using the character played by rajkumar rao and his friends . she attaches the tail of hair to her own hair and the chudail's powers get absorbed into her . she can disappear at will from now and when the bus conductor turns round after she has attached the tail of hair from the chudail to her own hair and she has disappeared !! she has got what she came to the town and enticed rao for---the chudail's powers .

to complete the ending---
rajkumar rao refuses to kill stree at shraddha's bidding and hence she makes her appearance again next year at the same festival . but stops when she sees her statue with the words ' o stree raksha karna' . so maybe she will quit terrorising the town as she has got the respect she sought .

anyway , the whole thing will be explained properly when part two of the movie will be released .

Re: Netflix movies worth watching

^^ all of that makes sense... and was my own reasoning. But I was not sure if that was what the director meant to present... and hence the frustration. If there is a second Stree movie then I did not know about it. This was fun... so the second should be good too.

Only recently I came to know that even in cities some people object to their kids mingling with other caste kids. I've never seen it personally but a coworker from Hyderabad told me about having faced it.
On episode 47 now. The theme is same. Ramdev faces 'sangharsh' in form of some bad influential guy. Pandit when he is a small kid, corrupt police inspector when he is not so small a kid, a firang Principal when he becomes an acharya and a fake swami when he tries to become a yoga guru. Throughout rival students or those who do not believe him keep adding to the sangharsh. But he overcomes these with determination and near superhuman abilities.
Question comes - are these stories real? 'Powder' seems more realistic than this one
