definitely watchable, but you can give the cinema hall a miss..

I give it 2.5 stars on 5

Thanks for the warning

No it is not, Bullets follow projectile motion at best. It is impossible as of now, movie itself is just about okay. though angelina can make a movie hit by acting alone.

Re: Weekend dillemma - What to watch?

Baithe baithe watched "Enemmy". Had piqued my curiosity when I saw the movie's posters. Johny Lever... Mithun... KK... and the movie is not bad either. Good action story... but maybe some editing/story issues. Over all, compared to the usual sh*gar that comes out of bollywood, this movie is pretty decent. Only wished there was more of Johny Lever... has minimal of his natural acting.

This movie also has Mithun's son... and his voice is funny. Wondering if he will join Tushaar Kapoor and Uday Chopra band... doesn't seem like he has much other options

Re: Weekend dillemma - What to watch?

No competition for Bhaag Milkha Bhaag this weekend! Everyone must watch... Although a bit slow paced in bits, the movie is brilliant... When you walk out of the theater, you are gushed with an immense feeling of pride, honor and quite honestly... patriotism!

The movie is a masterpiece! Please watch it people.

I am planning for a picnic for this weekend at nearby lake (boating/swimming) after lunch (1pm -6pm) and eating pot luck food there(6-7pm) chatting till 8-8:30 or till we decide to stay there and then come back to my place to watch movie.

I ll have this movie ready.

Re: Weekend dillemma - What to watch?

Watched this old Hindi movie again after a long while.. Godaan (1963) starring Rajkumar (available on youtube) .. Movie is based on the masterpiece Hindi novel by Shakespeare of Hindi Literature, the genius Munshi Premchand.. Such a moving and emotional story.. need to read the novel again too.. what a joy reading Premchand. Its like you are transported to the village and watching the events unfold in person.

Re: Weekend dillemma - What to watch?

Best thing with Munshi saheb is that his writing is very simple, there is not much of sanskritized hindi in his writing, try Krishna Sobti and Mahadevi Verma also. Tragic that Hindi literature is dying.

Another hindi movie that I like of bygone era is Yahoodi by dilip kumar

I saw Sweeny Todd starring Jhonny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter has purest of beautiful British Looks
