J & K Assembly Polls

BJP is trying pretty hard this time in J&K.

The kashmir valley recorded 71% voter turnout and, though no one would put it on record, the reason is BJP.

So what do you think will be the result of the assembly polls in J&K?

Please vote.

Re: J & K Assembly Polls

Peace pai, there is a redundancy in your poll options. There is only BJP and Sickular Block. So, only one of them can get a majority. Even, BJP being the single largest party will mean that Sickular block has got the majority and vice versa.

that is what is likely to happen.. although my source doing ads for BJP's poll campaign in J & K says BJP is likely to be close to majority and arm twist PDP into joining them, much like with Shiv Sena.

Pls throw some light on how is that possible.

Will bjp sweep the non-valley (i.e. Jammu & Ladhakh)'s 37 seats and win a few in the valley?

Or is it that the valley itself may surprise by electing many BJP candidates?

Re: J & K Assembly Polls

BJP has very good support especially after handling of the flood disaster and army taking action on soldiers who shot the boys.. also, Modi asked J&K to give BJP a chance, clearly things have not progressed with NC and PDP taking turns to form govt.

Finally, we will see what happens in less than a month.

so the valley may throw a surprise.

if that happens, I would change my opinion for a while that most mozzies are brain-dead (systematically made).

Yes. Wait for it. Why keep guessing.

Already the media jumping on High turn out seems to have put terrorists into action. There were incidents in Arnia and Srinagar.

BTW, the turn out was higher than in JH i.e. Jharkhand.

Somehow missed this post..

Are you one of those hide behind the argument:"naxalism is more dangerous that terrorism"??

No one has stopped you from discussing Jharkhand polls..

Naxalism is an issue...probably kept alive by politicians...I do not know much about it..But I am sure it has no 'divine revelation' as its inspiration.

Mehbooba holds Media responsible for attacks

Instead of blaming those behind the terror attacks, PDP Chief Mehbooba Mufti makes a bizarre statement blaming the media for attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. Mehbooba says that the media coverage of higher voter turnout in Kashmir is what has provoked terrorists to carry the attacks.
