Wink Wednesday Special

It was the last week of August 2010.

Two Christians were lost in the Sahara desert.

One is David, the other is Michael .

They were dying of hunger and thirst when they suddenly came upon an oasis, with what looked like an emirate of a mosque in the middle .

David said to Michael : "Look, let's pretend we are Muslims, otherwise we'll not get any food or drink. I am going to call myself Mohammed."

Michael refused to change his name , he said : "My name is Michael , and I will not pretend to be other than but what I am . ...Michael."

The Imam of the mosque received both well and asked about their names .

David said : "My name is Mohammed ."

Michael said : "My name is Michael. "

The Imam turned to the helpers of the mosque and said: "Please bring some food and water for Michael only."

Then he turned to the other and said : "Well Mohammed, Ramzan Mubarak!!!!
"

Re: Wednesday Special

repeat ho shayad but its a good one (i hope)

Psychology ka practical ho raha tha.

Professor ne ek Chuhe ke liye ek taraf cake aur dusri taraf chuhe ki biwi (chuhia) rakh di.

Chuha fauran Cake Ki taraf lapka.

Dusri baar Cake ko badal kar Roti rakhi.

Chuha Roti ki taraf lapka.

Is tarah kai baar food item badle.

Chuha har baar food ki taraf bhaaga.

Professor: Is-se ye saabit ho gaya ki bhukh mei hi sabse badi taqat hai.

Itne mei last row se ek awaz ayi ...

"Sir,ek bar chuhiya bhi badal ke dekh lete."

Re: Wednesday Special

got one rep and no replies
------------------
I was signing the receipt for my credit card purchase when the clerk noticed that I had never signed my name on the back of the credit card. She informed me that she could not complete the transaction unless the card was signed.

When I asked why, she explained that it was necessary to compare the signature on the credit card with the signature I just signed on the receipt.

So I signed the credit card in front of her.

She carefully compared that signature to the one I signed on the receipt.

Luckily they matched and the transaction got completed.

Re: Wednesday Special

read it on facebook..

"The boy who eventually became an Indian MP"

A young boy from Pune goes off to college. Half way through the
semester, having foolishly squandered all his money .... he calls home.

"Pita ji," he says, "You won't believe what modern education is developing!

They actually have a program here in Indian Institute of Management,
Ahmedabad (IIMA) that will teach our dog, Moti, how to talk!"

"That's amazing," his father says. "How do I get Moti in that program?"

"Just send him down here with Rs. 1,00,000" the young Sindhi boy says "and
I'll get him in the course."

So, his father sends the dog and Rs. 1,00,000.

About two-thirds of the way through the semester, the money again runs out.
The boy calls home.

"So how's Moti doing son?" his father asks.

"Awesome, Pita ji, he's talking up a storm," he says, "but you just won't
believe this -- they've had such good results they have started to teach the
animals how to read!"

"Read!?" says his father, "No kidding! How do we get Moti in that program?"

"Just send Rs.2,00,000, I'll get him in the class."
The money promptly arrives. But our hero has a problem.

At the end of the year, his father will find out the dog can neither talk,
nor read.

So he shoots the dog.

When he arrives home at the end of the year, his father is all excited.

"Where's Moti? I just can't wait to see him read something and talk!"

"Pita ji," the boy says, "I have some grim news. Yesterday morning, just
before we left to drive home, Moti was in the living room, kicked back in
the recliner, reading The Economic Times, like he usually does".

"Then Moti turned to me and asked, so, is your father still messing around
with that little pretty Champa who lives down the street?"

The father went white and exclaimed, "I hope you shot that son of a bitch
before he talks to your Mother!"

"I sure did, Pita ji!"

"That's my boy!"

The kid went on to law school, and now serves in New Delhi as a Member of
Parliament.

80s memories on Pronunciation -

One of my aunts used to call the DD news anchor Usha Albuquerque as 'Alu Buhkara'

On the same lines, many in Haryana called Gorbachev as 'Gobar Chor'

lol ..

Schwarzenegger is pronounced Shivaji Nagar

I often pronounce Ludhiana as Louisiana ..

and test people around me by pronouncing things wrong intentionally.. fun to see them correct me and get irritated like I'll say tortillla instead of tortiya.. Sa-chur-day .. common punjabi pronunciation for saturday .. con-science instead of conshiens.

and if somebody mispronounces things I'll do the same .. Tex-aas insted of Tex-us .. chee-caago instead of shi-caago ..
