Thank you! We escaped from the power outage but a lot of people went without power. Trees kept falling on the power lines. Snow I guess can be dealt with but the ice storms really were bad. My very first experience in this kinda storm.

Except for that blackout in 2004 and one case of a trasformer blast, never really had power outage.. but then NY/NJ area is mostly underground cabling so tree falling thingys are not very common. The operative word is MOSTLY.. there are areas with over the ground wiring they might have such issues but I never lived in those areas so would not know.

We know. All the cold air is coming from Canada. We need to build a wall between US and Canada so the cold air doesn't get here.

Mexican chics are so much better than canadian ones. We should let them all in.
