Exciting cricket players in contemporary Cricket

I am trying to produce a list of players for whom you will watch the match even if your favourite team is not involved in the match .
So ,first I start by Aussies :

1. Adam Gilchrist -- the most exciting batsman of this era I suppose
2. Ricky Ponting
3. Glenn McGrath

SriLanka :
1. Sanath Jayasuriya
2. Muralitharan

NewZealand
1.Astle
2.Cairns

for other teams i will post afterwards...till then you people can contribute to this list....

Cricket is a synonym for patriotism in India...If you people are not showing interest in Cricket then you have ceased to be a true Indian.....

Well ,continuing from the earlier post :

South Africa :
1. Gibbs
2. Rhodes

WI
1. Lara
2. Hooper

I'd also love to watch most of whom you listed, maybe with an exception of Lara, Ponting, Gibbs... I admit that they're all great players.

Here are some others:

Aus:
- Brett Lee

SA:
- Pollock

Pak:
- Kaneria
- Moin Khan (guess won't see much of him now...)

WI:
- Sarwan

Zim:
- Flowers

NZ:
- Harris

And any other players under 20 (Taibu and a couple of Pakistani players I think are younger than 20).

Here's my list..includes some oldtimers as I have not watched much cricket of late.

Ind: Whole team no matter who's playing!

Pak: Bowling of Younis and Akram in tandem. I cannot forget the havoc they created in England in the early 90's with their reverse swinging yorkers. I also loved Miandad's batting. I have not seen their younger players from the current team yet.

SL: The fearless batting of De Silva, Jayasurya

Aus: Steve Waugh when he has to save the match and only has the tail for company..

WI: Lara on song..and of course...used to love watching Ambrose and Walsh bowling in tandem. Who can forget Ambrose's 7 wkts against..who else..England!!

NZ: Chris Cairns

Eng: Only player worth rooting for in my time..Botham.

SA: Lance "Zulu" Klusener

Kenya/Bang/Zim: None

BTW guys what do you think about the Super Max format? Was the game televised in India? What are the rules of this format?

I've posted a new thread about this, so we don't mess up this one.
