Oregon malpractice cases..

I thought Physician history is a well guarded information, at least not to be available freely.

Does Oregon have a separate law to make available this info? Desis please enlighten. This is a very good news to the patients but may also unnecessarily highlight some otherwise good physician because of a petty/opportunistic malpractice suit. Your opinions please.

Oregon Medical Malpractice Database

I think this is a fall out of Dr Death (aka Dr. Jayant Patel) investigations.

So if you are living in Oregon and want to have more info on your physician, this is one of the places to dig some info.

Re: Oregon malpractice cases..

I guess such information should be made public. You dont want to go to a incompetent physician.
