Netflix or Amazon or Hulu

So, 3 months of catching up on Cult Classics and other stuff including episodes of Mahabharat Katha i donloaded 5 years back and found recently.
Realized that Bachcha log are getting addicted to a lot of meaningless stuff on Youtube. and regular shows might be a better alternative. Throwing this now, content wise, particularly for kids 8-12, which would work out more -
Netflix, Amazon, Hulu or something else.
Biggest attraction with Netflix seems to be series like sacred games. Plus the kids know what is up.
With Amazon, it is free shipping on many of the goods.
Hulu , dont know.

Netflix. Discarded Amazon as it cannot cast to ChromeCast. Hulu, have it free on a mobile plan but have never watched it... yet. Want to catch Sienfeld full series some day.

Re: Netflix or Amazon or Hulu

I had NetFlix but don't now. I have Amazon because I signed up for Amazon Prime.

NetFlix seems to have more original content produced by them. Amazon too has some good original content.

Well, I cannot devote too much time to watching shows so I am content with Amazon Prime for now.

Ever since NetFlix and Amazon Prime have become popular, I have not bothered to look at HBO ... I cancelled HBO long time ago.

If you have AT&T's unlimited plan, you get HBO for free (through DirectTV's app).

T-Mobile's unlimited gets you Netflix for free and I believe Verizon gives you Hulu.

Re: Netflix or Amazon or Hulu

I cut the cord a few years ago by cancelling Dish, with the idea that I'll subscribe to these standalone services to offset the cost of the cable/satellite. So far, I've been happy with a rooftop antenna to get most of the network channels, netflix and Sling TV's desi package, and YouTube. I used to have Willow, but I canceled it since it's included in Sling.

I share my netflix login with a buddy of mine, and he shares his HBO login.

I've enough choices between these services, so haven't felt the need to subscribe to Hulu or Amazon yet.

Re: Netflix or Amazon or Hulu

Amazon Prime is most suited for my needs. I get to see good movies and TV shows. A few Hindi movies are included as well.
In addition to that, you get free shipping on lot of daily use stuff besides getting some prime exclusive stuff as well.

I guess many people are doing similar.. only those that like desi soap shows are sticking to yupp and dish, etc.

I too cut cable like 4-5 yrs back.. i say the same to those folks selling satellite tv connection in sam’s or Walmart.. so they go we have desi channels on Sling.. told them all employed folks have max 1-2 hrs daily .. why waste more than 10-15 bucks a month, already paying 2 bucks a day for internet.

Go with your phone which has the Amazon app installed. Contact their customer service desk in the store and connect your Amazon account with your phone number. They will tell you how. And then everytime you buy stuff, just mention your phone number.

yep, Amazon recently purchased Whole foods.. or may be it's been a while.

Also, you can have Amazon deliver your package at whole foods, you have like 2-3 days to pick it up.
