Re: Review: Kambakht Ishq - Akshay Kumar's latest film

Pathetic is the word to describe this movie.
All the while was cursing Amtha for saying this movie is good(watchable)
Kareena is artificial and looks like a bi**h. Aki tried but the script was too pathetic and jokes were too old or absurd to laugh on
Have no idea why Aftaf is in the movie? His role was also horrible and made no sense.
Amrita Arora is as usual dumb in the role and so is her character in the movie.
Javed, Boman and other are plain wasted in the movie.
Even Stallon and Richards is wasted in the movie....why???
Stupid Stupid Stupid

Re: Review: Kambakht Ishq - Akshay Kumar's latest film

I watched this movie with a packed house and let me tell you, it does make a hell lot of difference when u watch it on a big screen than on a DVD. There, more than half of the audience will even enjoy stale jokes like 'Hijack!' Hi Joe!' , and trust me, even if you are hearing it for Nth time, you tell get entertained by it - the audience reaction entertains you!

I prefer watching movies on big screen only because of this reason. Taaliya, seetiya, commentbaazi of audience, these are the things that makes movie watching a fun trip. You cant enjoy some movies alone. Masturbating cant be as much of fun as a real f u c k, Company matters

I understand that a movie is much more enjoyable in a packed cinema hall, but tell me, did you see Chandni Chowk To China in a cinema hall? Did you enjoy it despite the audience?

I have enjoyed Akshay Kumar movies almost always. Even his Garam Masala, which had a one line concept - dating multiple girls - was fun to watch at home. The director knew how to make a single line concept into a full Bollywod potboiler.

But I enjoy your spirit of watching the movies in a cinema hall and giving us your reviews You saved my time and money over New York movie.

Chalo next kaunsa aa raha hain picchur? Khaski bhau, uska bhi review aapko dena padega.

Re: Review: Kambakht Ishq - Akshay Kumar's latest film

The movie was bad. How can we have sooo many co-incidences in the movie

Coincidence number 1 - Akshay (AK) and Kareena (KK) met with common friends. Both hate the opposite sex

Coincidence number 2: AK goes to a shooting in Rome, and guess what KK is the female model.

Coincidence number 3 - This takes the cake. AK in accident and the surgeon is KK

Coincidence number 4: KK puts something in AKs drink, ultimately ends up drinking from the same glass

Coincidence number 5: The mother of all coincidences - AK proposes KK - Both of them dive into ocean without masks. AK goes to the bottom (of ocean you pervert), opens ( a shell) and finds a ring which he has placed earlier and put it on KKs finger. More than 2 minutes without a breath so far

Coincidence number 6: Aftab, Amrita and KK end up in a rough neighbourhood. As they were being chased, guess who saves them? - Mr. John Rambo - taking a stroll in the hood in his hoody.

So watch at your own risk

Re: Review: Kambakht Ishq - Akshay Kumar's latest film

just watched the movie, its a copy of tamil movie by the name Bramachari starting kamal hasan simran abbas , the only difference is the movie was based on stunt man in tamil movie industry and this one is based in hollywood and some small changes here and there.

tamil movie was a super hit with music i believe was by rehman, and the jokes were not so crude and acting was normal.

does that mean those moview which are hit in south dont go well with hindi mainstream..... what could be the reason??

South indian movies are scripted so as it could be hit only if some hairy moochhwala hero acts in it??

or

crap storyline?? which southies enjoy but hindi audience rejects outright??

well said, Any thing right from usage of technology to acting or fan support bollywood can never beat any south film industry.
Even with huge financial support, its a pity to see bollywood churning out idiotic movies one after other(films like a wednesday do come but mostly its full of crap)

yeah heard about that, but sallu is history. And all his movies are going to blow big time.
@ Amtha...yes KI did make money. But remember there was a lot spent on making this movie. I am sure even more than 45 cr. Cause our AK takes some absurd number for salary (last I heard ...80 cr). So the movie will not make that much amount of money and off course the movie sucked big time...so for me it is a big flop.
AK tried some stunts of SMS's and appeared on some show complaining like in industry actors pretend to be friends, but are enemies...and blah blah...all this was nothing more than a publicity stunt.....even Kat taking pot shots are kareena....blah blah
